Apple $AAPL CEO on memory-driven price increases: “We reluctantly raised prices because we’re in what I would characterize as a 100-year flood in memory pricing, with exponential increases in memory prices. t’s too early to reach a definitive conclusion on price elasticity.”

@norveclifinance Additionally the customers of the bottlenecks also innovate to use the constrained supply more efficiently or circumvent it entirely. All it takes is one breakthrough and memory needs could collapse overnight.

Some people still don’t understand one of the most basic laws of economics. When demand for a product explodes and prices and margins surge, what happens? More producers enter the market. Existing players expand capacity. Supply rises. Competition intensifies. Eventually, the market finds its equilibrium and extraordinary margins normalize. Yet some investors are pricing today’s elevated memory prices and margins as if they will last forever. This could be the signal that memory stocks have already seen their peak. As China aggressively expands capacity and pushes prices lower, many of today’s bullish assumptions could collapse. $MU $SKHYNIX $SSNLF $NVDA $AMD China could crush this cycle. Watch closely.

US CENTCOM hasn’t retaliated to Iran’s strike on their bases 14 hours ago Surely because they aren’t low on ammo and interceptors, right? Maybe because they have to stick to the crude oil price manipulation schedule? Or both 🤔
