Ramen Noodle Sign of @EHFultonMD. Wavy spindle cells & collagen (like instant ramen) = tendon/fascia (dense regular connective tissue) or fibroblast/myofibroblast NOT nerve or neural tumor (contrary to conventional #pathology wisdom!). My video explains: buff.ly/2ZN98MP

@EHFultonMD @IHeartHisto @JMGardnerMD I certainly teach that there are, since the peri- and endoneurium has to come from them. I don't have any histochemical evidence for this, however. I'll follow up with some colleagues working on peripheral neuropathy to see if they have any further answers.

@EHFultonMD @JMGardnerMD First make sure your eye pieces are adjusted close to zero. Then proceed with focusing at 40X without readjusting eyepieces, and then move to the 10X to adjust eye pieces without adjusting the micrometer knob.

Microscope life hack (if you have two focusing eyepieces): focus on 40X with your fine focus knob, then go to 10X and focus with eye pieces. Nearly parfocal in 5 seconds! #Dermpath #pathology @JMGardnerMD
