I have no idea how long I am going to be here for. I have a Septic Pulmonary Embolism, my PICC-line got infected with Staph and the rest is history. I had no idea how dangerous this was, and without the fever I would have never known or come back to the hospital the day after discharge. I’m truly blessed to be alive. @VadeadIesum I have anxiety and it has helped me to control my breathing and literally pray the first half of a Hail Mary as I inhale slowly, and the second half exhaling slowly. Ask Jesus to restore your peace through His mother. It has always worked.

Please pray for me if you can. It's been a day. I had a panic attack in mass. Once the Eucharistic Prayer started, it stopped. It's too much to explain, but I had flashbacks and phantom pain. I'm afraid of shutting down and spiraling, but I have to pick up my cross again and remember how much God has done for me. How far he's brought me, because it wasn't me.

@Coworkeroftruth It truly hurts my heart that anyone would call Paul VI evil. One can argue that he made some mistakes, even serious ones as Pope— but they were not done with any malice. For anyone to call him “evil” is seriously misguided.

My husband and I decided to take a humanitarian weekend trip to Cuba. Grateful Cubans lined the streets to cheer our efforts. Tour buses there aren’t air-conditioned though, so we had to cut things short after one day. We plan to go back in the fall and stay longer. Viva Cuba! 🇨🇺

I think you would be very hard pressed to find anybody of any import on the left who cheered Charlie Kirk’s death. I have zero respect for who he was as a human being, and obviously think murdering someone is wrong. Don’t confuse legitimately calling the guy out for who he was with condoning his death. In Trump’s case, he’s literally condoning his death.

When Charlie Kirk was murdered, those of us on the conservative side rightly chastised those of our political adversaries who cheered and celebrated his death. We accused them--again rightly--of shameful callousness and of polluting public discourse and coarsening social life. What President Trump does here merits the same chastisement, for the same reasons.
