@EM203JonahLasko The first 3 lessons of EM203 were very insightful indeed. It is astonishing how much the digital age affects our learning in ways that we don't consciously realize - EM203 highlights this magnitude.

I have just finished the first three lessons of #EM203Robin. First we learned about the impacts of the digital age. Next we focused on learning theories. My group looked at connectivism. Finally, this week we’re learning about the 3 M’s: multi-media multi-modal and multitasking!

@VanSchepenMark I also really enjoyed reading Sankey's piece - social media has definitely transformed the way we learn and intake information - from sharing opinions and perspectives, to live news updates, social media is truly an evolutionary learning tool!

From "Engaging students through multimodal learning... " by M. Sankey, the concept of multimodal learning is very interesting. The thing that stood out is that social media can help us to learn in ways we may not have expected combining different delivery methods. #EM203Robin

After an enjoyable first 3 weeks of lessons in #EM203Robin, I have begun to understand the magnitude of digital technology's role in shaping the future of learning and education. Learning about the digital age in education has been insightful and am excited to continue learning!
