After searching the issues of doomscrolling I identified in Week 6, I found "Doomscrolling is nothing new, people used to do the same with tv remote... Only the means have changed, not the habit. This is not advancement, it's recurring derangement." - Abhijit Naskar #EM203Robin

After reviewing @EM203Tingram 's concept map, one problem I was curious about was how doomscrolling affects people of different ages. Is it more harmful to a teenager or an adult? Does it impact younger people's minds differently than adults? If so, how? #EM203problems

After reviewing @em203nattiqi's concept map, one problem I was curious about was how sleep differs between men and women. Are some disorders more common for men, or women? Does more or less sleep affect men and women differently? #EM203problems

So far in EM203, I have really enjoyed the course and learned a lot, including the constructivist learning approach. I really appreciate the hands on learning compared to other classes, as it keeps me engaged and on my toes! #EM203ROBIN

@EM203CFischer I agree the consistent application of our learning fosters real understanding and helps concepts stick.

@EM203JacobR I agree I think the most effective way to learn is to step back and determine how to best conceptualize issues based on your ways of rationalization.

Through the first 3 weeks of this course, I have found cognitivism to be a successful style of learning for me. Meaning I think best when I think about how I’m thinking and how I’m going to approach things. #EM203Robin

@bowe4260 I also think this is interesting as it takes into account how people with different interests require different methods of learning.

Dom Murray's blog on How Technology has changed the way we learn was very interesting. I enjoyed learning about the "external brain" phenomenon in which tech-savvy people are more reliant on tech to remember things! #EM203Robin

From "Engaging students through multimodal learning... " by M. Sankey, the concept of multimodal learning is very interesting. The thing that stood out is that social media can help us to learn in ways we may not have expected combining different delivery methods. #EM203Robin
