@EM203ZPosner Hi Zach, digital literacy is something that is extremely important and will definitely continue to become a greater factor! Constructivism is another topic I also have enjoyed, it is one of my most prominent learning styles.
Just finished the first three lessons of my Twitter course! Learned about the importance of digital literacy, the principles of constructivism, and how multimedia and multitasking impact learning. Excited to apply these insights! #EM203Robin
@VanSchepenMark Hey Mark, social media's effects on learning are becoming extremely influential in the year 2024. It is of great wonder to me on how this will continue to evolve in the years to come, for better or for worse?
From "Engaging students through multimodal learning... " by M. Sankey, the concept of multimodal learning is very interesting. The thing that stood out is that social media can help us to learn in ways we may not have expected combining different delivery methods. #EM203Robin
@EM203JoshP Hey Josh, technology definitely does have a significant impact on our learning and this class has brought even more light to this. My favourite use of technology in learning is utilizing my Ipad for mathematics. What is your favourite use of technology for learning?
@EM203ARiegling Glad to hear you are enjoying the class! I agree constructivism is a really interesting concept, something I wonder is that are all of the learning activities we have participated in an example of this?
I found the first 3 lessons to be really interesting. I got to learn about things like constructivism which really highlights the importance of comparing knowledge you are gaining to knowledge you already have (or through experiences and reflection). enjoying it. #EM203Robin
@EM203CFischer Hey Coleson, I am definitely in agreement with you on the benefits of the hands on learning found in EM203! In a way we are using the constructivist learning approach, as we are learning through are experiences.
So far in EM203, I have really enjoyed the course and learned a lot, including the constructivist learning approach. I really appreciate the hands on learning compared to other classes, as it keeps me engaged and on my toes! #EM203ROBIN
Through the first 3 weeks of this course, I have found cognitivism to be a successful style of learning for me. Meaning I think best when I think about how I’m thinking and how I’m going to approach things. #EM203Robin
