@EM203maazahmed I agree Maaz! Social media is a constant distraction for many students including me and abstaining it for study periods is an effective way to stay on track and focused.

I was a little bit hesitant taking this class, but when i started learning about the Three M's of media and the way digital learners learn in todays world, it really changed up my perspective of how cutting out distractions keeps you more focused than having them. #EM203Robin

My first few lessons in #EM203Robin have been very engaging and interesting. Learning how to use different applications through the weekly tasks has allowed me to broaden my technical mind. My favourite part has been interacting with the class through the discussion posts.

@wlu_nathanael Very good analysis Nathanael! I agree that the COVID pandemic forced a lot of teachers and students to suddenly adapt to a new method of learning, leading to frequent frustration.

2) From the "Teaching in a Digital Age" book, it outlines the importance of variance in the ways in which we consume knowledge in the new day and age because of technology. For example was the teachers frustration where she had to modify her lessons because of COVID #EM203Robin

I learnt a lot about the benefits of cooperative education, the learning-by-doing method, and Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle. These methods help students understand the practical aspects of an industry, allowing them to feel what it's like working in real life! #EM203Robin
