@BahiraR Very interesting, I also think that schools are failing to provide students with the academic instruction they need to be successful in post-secondary education.
fraserinstitute.org/article/woke-i… Ironically, in their obsession to stamp out “white privilege” and “heteronormativity,” schools are failing to provide students with the academic instruction they need to be successful in post-secondary education and in life. And when schools fail to provide students with the academic basics, students from disadvantaged homes suffer the most. Their parents do not have the same resources (money for private tutoring, etc.) that more affluent parents have at their disposal. Read the full article by

Congratulations to Donald Trump on being elected President of the United States.
The friendship between Canada and the U.S. is the envy of the world. I know President Trump and I will work together to create more opportunity, prosperity, and security for both of our nations.
So far in my course for EM203, lessons 1-3 have been enjoyable and interesting. lesson 1 in my opinion was my favorite because it really highlighted the Impacts of technology on learning, allowing me to be able to see how it has affected my life in the present. #EM203Robin

My first lessons have been exciting and insightful. I have already learned a lot about digital literacy and the use of X in general. I am looking forward to diving deeper into these topics and exploring more advanced aspects of digital literacy in the next lessons. #EM203Robin
@shah4729 Hey Dhruv, It’s great that you’re discovering so much more about education, especially how digital media can shape our thoughts through different media outlets. I’m sure you’ll continue to learn even more as the course progresses!
I have learned so many new things about education and the most surprising aspect of this course is learning how digital media can be presented and influence our thoughts on videos, audios, or even advertisements. I hope to learn a lot more in this class. #EM203Robin
@EM203JWu5 Hi Jeffery, that’s great to hear! Connecting with the lesson on authentic learning will definitely help you improve your teaching skills Keep up the good work!
In my first weeks in #EM203Robin, we explored various topics on how teaching is evolving in today's society. The lesson on authentic learning stood out, as I've also struggled with finding relevance in what is taught. This will surely enhance my own teaching skills.
I learnt a lot about the benefits of cooperative education, the learning-by-doing method, and Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle. These methods help students understand the practical aspects of an industry, allowing them to feel what it's like working in real life! #EM203Robin
@em203_brianm I can relate to you, I don't use x much but however, after I started to use it more, I can definitely see how a platform like X can enhance the learning experience, especially now that we live in the 21st century.
During the first few weeks of class, the lessons have been very interesting especially lesson 1 where it outlined how technology has impacted learning making it more accessible as well as convenient. Great first weeks, looking forward to future lessons!! #EM203Robin
