Hi @unicefchief I'm working on a school project about the impact of covid-19 on the global food crisis. Could you provide me with your opinion on what you believe the impacts of covid-19 will be on food security across developing nations?

Below is a link to an article by the World Economic Forum detailing the impact that covid-19 has had on the global food crisis:

One year ago, COVID-19 was officially declared a pandemic. Today, on this National Day of Observance, we honour every parent, child, and friend who lost their life to this disease - and we stand with the people they loved as they continue to cope with this unimaginable loss.
Following the first few weeks in EM203, I have gained a much deeper understanding of the various learning theories and what areas of study may benefit most from each theory. Additionally, I've become aware of the immense impact technology has made on learning. #EM203Robin
@EM203SAMA Hey Sam! I think its so interesting how many learning theories we have available to us in the digital age. The readings and videos we've been assigned so far have been very informative. Enjoy the rest of your semester!
@EM203JGao Hi Johnson! Glad that you're also learning a lot about the different learning styles we have. My group was assigned connectivism and its very interesting to see how it compares and contrasts with your theory of constructivism. Enjoy the rest of the semester!
The first few weeks of EM203 have been great. My group was assigned the topic of constructivism last week. I learned a lot about this particular teaching style. It relies heavily on personal experiences and communication. Looking forward to more ahead! #EM203Robin
@em203_c Its been very interesting to learn about the many different styles we learn. It has definitely made me re-think what type of learner I am. I think its interesting that there are so many unique benefits and drawbacks to the learning styles and Im excited to learn more about them!
Initially, we only learned through 4 styles; visual, auditory, literacy, and kinesthetic. This course has shown a broader array of learning forms (objectivism, graphic, etc.), broadened by technology. Each type has it's own benefits dependent on the person and content #EM203Robin
@EM203AFroment Hi Alyssa! I found the multi-tasking experiment to be very interesting as well. It interests me to learn more about how different environments impact the way we learn in so many ways. Enjoy the rest of the semester!
In the first 3 weeks of EM203, I learned different learning theories, including Connectivism. I learned how they impact how knowledge is taught, especially now that it's virtual. As well seeing how multi-tasking has an impact on memorization. I also learned to knit! #EM203Robin
@EM203ZMostacci Hi Zachary! I agree that this class has been very interesting so far. Connectivism has been a highlight for me as well and it has definitely changed the way I see and understand how we learn. Enjoy the rest of the semester!
Weeks 1,2,3 of EM203 have been extremely interesting! Topics such as connectivism and how it is used in our education system has really opened my eyes up to different ways of learning.I also found conducting a memory experiment and learning a new skill mind altering. #EM203Robin
During the first few weeks of class I've learned a lot about many different learning theories. Especially connectivism, a theory that attempts to understand how we learn in this digital age using massive online networks of information. I'm excited to learn more! #EM203Robin
