And the new head coach is expected to be hired before going after the player targets he and the club agree on.

Section 40 of the 1999 Constitution guarantees freedom of association. INEC doesn’t “approve” parties rather it registers them if they meet Section 222 conditions. If NDC met those conditions and INEC refused, a court can compel registration. That’s not a “trap.” That’s judicial review. INEC vs. Musa settled this in 2003. Deregistration under Section 225A requires: failure to win 25% in one state or FCT in a presidential election, or failure to win one legislative seat. No court can deregister NDC today for “how” it was born. Only for performance.
