Good representation of homophobia is when the story directly mentions and criticizes it which Persona 4 never did, the fans just coped with it because Yosuke is a fan favorite

@Always_Serpico @animeupdates Yeah they wouldn't even need to make a huge spectacle of it, just Yosuke realizing that he's been a big jackass at times and just have a genuine moment of self-reflection and apology to Kanji, could've been a really good moment for the whole party to bond more too

That would’ve been an awesome moment of growth and clarity, and a great opportunity for them to become closer as friends and party members.

@Always_Serpico @animeupdates It is a shame, I think they could've done something interesting with him if he kept some of those traits but were challenged as the story progressed, instead of this. Could've had some really cool, natural character development as he realizes how he's behaved during the story
