@LeonardBriscoe3 The economy would collapse due to massive inflation, but before it did, the morons would drink themselves to death or overdose. Where as Elon is trying to get us to Mars, I would expect more intelligence from an OBE to be honest. Let that sink in.

The Government is definitely up to something. Asylum caseworkers tell me they are awaiting large numbers of cases but hardly any are coming through. Where are they? Where are you hiding them - and why? @ukhomeoffice Misusing official data to mask terrible failure.
Home Office@ukhomeoffice

Asylum decisions have quadrupled. The asylum backlog is now down from its peak of 175,000 to 49,000 people awaiting a decision - the lowest level since 2019. More decisions mean more asylum hotel closures and more illegal migrants removed or deported.

In Auschwitz, my mother taught me three rules. Not stories. Not prayers. Rules. The kind that kept you alive. Rule one: Never make eye contact with a guard. Rule two: Never show that you are sick. Rule three: Never, ever, lose your bowl. I was five years old. I memorized them the way other children memorize nursery rhymes. The bowl was a small tin thing. Dented. Scratched. It held whatever thin soup they gave us once a day. If you lost your bowl, you had no bowl. If you had no bowl, you had no ration. If you had no ration, you understand. I guarded that bowl with everything I had. I slept with it. I held it against my chest during roll call. I knew where it was every second of every day. Then one morning, I fell into the latrine. There is no delicate way to say this. The latrines in Auschwitz were wooden boards with holes cut into them over a pit. The holes were large. I was very small. I was in a hurry. I slipped. I went in up to my neck. The smell. The cold. The rats. I do not need to describe it. Your mind already knows. My mother tried to pull me out. She could not. I was slippery and she had no strength. None of us had strength. We had not eaten properly in months. She called out. Other women came. Together they pulled me free. Someone found a hose. They sprayed me down in the cold air while I stood there shaking. I did not cry. Rule number one in Auschwitz was the same rule everywhere, do not attract attention. But I got sick. Very sick. The kind of sick that comes from rats and filth and cold water and a body that has nothing left to fight with. And I remembered Rule Two, never show that you are sick. I hid it from everyone. From the guards. From the other children. Even from my mother, because I knew if she knew, she would do something. And doing something in Auschwitz got you killed. But someone saw. I do not know who. I do not know why they helped me instead of reporting me. I never knew. They took me to a room, a makeshift hospital. I lay in a bed, a real bed, not a wooden bunk, for the first time since we had arrived. I do not remember much of what happened next. The fever blurred everything. Days passed like smoke. When I came out, I still had my bowl. I had held it even in the latrine. Even in the fever. Even in the dark when I did not know where I was or what day it was. My mother looked at me when I came back. She looked at the bowl. She did not say anything. She just nodded, the way she nodded when something had gone the way it needed to go. People ask me what survival looks like. I tell them, sometimes it looks like a five year old girl climbing out of a latrine in a death camp, covered in filth, shaking with cold, still holding her tin bowl. Because she knew that the bowl was the difference between eating and not eating. Between living and not. Because her mother had told her. And she had listened. I am Tova Friedman. I fell into a latrine in Auschwitz at five years old. I came out still holding my bowl. Tova. #NeverForget #Survival #DaughterOfAuschwitz #ShesStillHere #TheirNamesLiveOn

@CosmicEarthOne @ChaiLife613 In Birkenau children 5 or under were very few. The Ramp selection surely sent them to the Kremas. This person was very lucky indeed.

Why did I walk to school and back, an almost 4 mile round trip to save the 5p fare money my mum gave me? Why did I go buy old Marvel comics for 2p and sell them for 5p at school? Why did I save all my birthday and Xmas money? Why did I go to work at 16? Why did I sweep up human faeces from the back of British Aerospace on the Strand as a job? Why did I become a comedian and do door split gigs that barely paid my Tube fair? Why did I drive 600 mile round trips in a night to gig to save money on a hotel? Why did I cycle to the Comedy Store in London to gig to save money? Why did I use all that money to raise a deposit for my first house? Why did I do all those TV warm up gigs sometimes driving 4 hour round trips to earn money? Why did I appear on TV to earn money and pay off my mortgage early? Why did I then buy a building to turn into a comedy club? Why did I do most of the internal demolition work myself to keep the costs down? Why did I do every job in the club including cleaning the toilets and unblocking the drains so I could then ask my staff to do it? Why did I subsequently demolish the building and risk everything to build a hotel and restart my comedy club? I’ll tell you why… It’s so that when I die the government will steal circa 40% of my money that I would like to leave to my wife and kids. That’s why. Why did I bother?

Surprise, surprise @wesstreeting is on @BBCr4today bashing landlords. I’ve got news for you mate, we can’t have a “productive nation” without people having homes, so if you want to tax Landlords to hell, I’d build some alternative accommodation first ‘cos you’re going to need it.

.@MayorofLondon @metpoliceuk @ukhomeoffice @Keir_Starmer I expect a statement from all about this arson attack (one of many) on Christians. There could have been families and children in that church or at the very least individuals preparing for a service. This is a blatant attack on native Christians and our very own culture, on our very own lands. Christians across the nation must feel extremely unsafe & petrified that this is happening on our doorstep! Awaiting patiently for your statements for such attacks that are taking place in our Christian country! (not abroad)… 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I haven’t criticised the people who attended the march, I’m just laughing at Robinson’s usual ludicrous claims about crowd size. If there were ‘millions’ there, then I’m the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Ted@TedAFischer

@piersmorgan Piers, Why didn’t you go down there, be a journalist, and listen to the people? They weren’t paid to show up. They are hurting, being ignored by their government, and want someone to listen to them. You’re the poster child of arrogance & privilege, Piers. Cc: @glennbeck

Piers, for a journalist do you even do research anymore? So a man lives in a London house in a shared building and suddenly that means he is a millionaire? Seriously, get a grip. My son lives in a £2.5 million house, it has 7 bedrooms and it is shared by students. So what now, I guess my son is a millionaire too? This is the problem, you lot see a London property price and act like everyone inside it owns the place.

This week's results is a demonstration of just how dramatically the Greens have recomposed their core vote. They've turned away from the liberal, well-off voters who used to be their bread and butter, and gone all in on multiracial working class + downwardly mobile graduates.

End Hamas, Hezbollah - Israeli Terrorism!
@WokeratiMarty @ZackPolanski Yes, Stephen doesn’t live in Israel and therefore does not have any present or recent day (if any) experience of what it’s like to live there and experience indiscriminate rocket fire from terrorists for decades, so despite his Holocaust experience, there is no comparison!
