The closure of the Sickle Cell Day Unit at the Royal London Hospital will leave sickle cell patients waiting in pain for longer. This scheme should be reinstated as a matter of urgency, with more emergency units rolled out across London. bbc.com/news/articles/…

@LucyGoBag @frommetoyou01 Doubtless all that advice was in the podcast, no harm in reinforcing it, eh? You build up powerful helping muscles by starting small. Go with your gifts, whatever you're good at whether it's making soup, placards or speeches. Do that. You are the right help for someone somewhere.

@LucyGoBag And you could maybe do something practical for them. You could pour good into the world by writing a letter to someone suffering (see @frommetoyou01) you could knit blanket squares, donate a coat. Do something, being a passive recipient of bad stuff is harmful and disempowering.

Good morning all, im still undecided on what to do for Ryan's 30th birthday in December this year, I'd love to take Ryan on a cruise but a cruise in December means it may not stop at the various ports,which would upset Ryan, does anyone have any ideas, ideally all inclusive, im starting to favour a UK holiday as its so close to Christmas( birthday is the 9th)and I need to guarantee the entertainment for that time of year too. Thoughts please.
