Tsubakuro will be making his return as the teams mascot within the coming weeks. It has been over a year since the suit performer unfortunately passed away which is still heartbreaking to think about. This will mark a new era for our favorite helmet tossing Swallow.

This Friday is opening day against the BayStars which starts the regular season. I will be posting daily recaps of every game about an hour or so after the final pitch. Let’s hope for a great season. Go Go Swallows!

@phattarapo86085 From what I’ve seen, he was sick with an illness/flu so with him being out lately is not apart of his injury from before. He’ll most likely start on the farm and work his way up to the main roster within a month or so.

Domingo Santana with a first inning home run against the Yomiuri Giants during yesterday’s spring training game (03/17/26).

The highlights from today’s spring training matchup against the Yomiuri Giants were not so great. A few strikeouts but overall the offense was quiet and the Swallows were shut out 8-0. (03/18/26)

Following the heartbreaking defeat of Samurai Japan in the WBC, Yuhei Nakamura should be joining back with the Swallows in Tokyo within the coming days.

The Yakult Swallows held Shingo Kawabata retirement game and ceremony today against the Orix Buffaloes. Kawabata’s career spanned two decades (2006-2025) he was a respected member of the team which his memorable 2015 season will not be forgotten. May he enjoy his retirement!
