Hytale Pre-Release Update 6 (Part 6) is live! 🔸New 'Always Active' trigger volume options enforce persistent zone rules like flying or build restrictions. 🔸The in-game plugin list now features an alphabetical search bar for easy navigation. 🔸Optimized World-Gen V2 buffer and chunk priority systems significantly improve performance and CPU usage. 🔸Fixed combat bugs ensure player melee attacks no longer connect through solid walls.

Big changes take time! 🛠️ Simon's reply confirms that Hytale won't transform overnight. Chapter 1 is all about laying the foundation, meaning the new crafting and progression systems will phase in over 3+ chapters. Overhauling a live game is a massive balancing act, but the groundwork for the future is officially being set! 📈

Clear about what? There are weekly updates with ton of stuff + chapters work being done, I literally work for free over 90 hours a week 😂 Calm down brother it will be fine, just let us cook! I’m not releasing new content on purpose. Im chasing long term success not short term. Strong foundation, build the team and push forward. I’m not sharing my plans with Chapter 1 just yet because I want to do some marketing and with it and take some competition by surprise

Each mimic has a chance to spawn a pet version that I’m working on have them work as portable storage! ❤️

Hytale foundation work is going really well, and we're shipping updates at a high rate! Early access is exactly the kind of development I enjoy: move fast, break things, iterate. This is way more fun than I expected! Needless to say, it was a very good investment to save Hytale. FYI, we've got a hiring push coming after the contest wraps up, and you can expect updates to come even faster in the months ahead. The team will be about 100 members, with very few management/producer roles. Organized chaos. Once the foundation is further along, we'll be moving into dungeons, boss fights, progression, and a ton of exciting content. We have a ton of surprises in the works that have never been done in any sandbox/survival games! Hard engineering challenges ahead ;)

Can we have Key molds back 🙏 they were beautiful. Could you imagine the builds nowadays 🤩

@Simon_Hypixel @rockpapershot I love them! Especially the ones in the dungeons. I take them home and put them in a line or in my house in areas that I need to come back too 🙏

I'm not sure how to feel about it; some people enjoy it, some don't. My personal opinion is that we should probably keep it only for funny moments and avoid letdowns as much as possible. However, we just ran out of time to think this through, in all honesty. I think it's important for us to clearly show that the game is in true early access, but I understand that constant reminders in the form of signs break immersion, and I agree, sometimes it leads to some disappointments, but to be fair, there are not that many in the world, only a few entrances and the Forgotten Temple. In total, I would say it's less than 1% of the prefabs that have this sign. One thing I noticed while watching people play is that the Klop Merchant in the Forgotten Temple should probably not sell signs and confuse players in their first-ever NPC interaction!
