Are people still playing Hytale? There was so much hype early this year and it sold over 1 million copies so it definitely got attention. Last thing I remember hearing was that the game was very empty and far from a finished product. I planned on purchasing it myself until some friends advised me not to 😂

Very expensive path, but it's the game I ultimately want to play with my kids when they're old enough to play! Dungeons, boss fights, epic worlds, encounters, NPCs, events, rework all professions/crafting. It's going to be a long journey! Having modding alongside us will help the wait between major updates, and the hiring pool will keep growing for us as well. Really happy with where we are going right now. I understand the game isn't that good right now; there isn't much to do in adventure, and it's bare-bones. I also feel a strong responsibility to ensure it's fully realized!

Les go! Glad you guys are investing in the adventure, it's the main part lacking in so many of these voxel games, you run out of stuff to do / explore

@Herborus @Olegro_ Worked for 6 years on a Minecraft data pack that added 11 dimensions to the game. All different types of worldgen. All of them a pain in the rear. Hytale is much nicer to me so far.

@foxy_cca You know, it's kinda weird how the more I look at the competition, the less bad I feel about not making it in. There are some genuine works of art out there and I'm so glad they're getting recognized.

Didn't get there unfortunately, but oh well, everyone did such an amazing job with their mods, go vote!

I'm glad though that this gave me the incentive to try something outside of Minecraft modding. It sounds cliche as all heck but even if we lose we can never lose what we learned.

@kmb42600 I kinda wish it was like terraria where if you dig deep enough you could make it to the nether. (So badly that I built a data pack to do exactly that)

After much going back and forth in my head about this, I think the right solution for the Nether roof on Bedrock Edition is to just simply raise the height of the Nether to 256, without affecting generation, bringing it in parity with Java Edition.

@darlak97 Same. I spread myself too thin by sending in three projects instead of just focusing on one. But hey, I got to make some things I didn't even realize I was capable of making and as a bonus I got to see some amazing mods (yours included)

Im sad about not getting a mention in the modding contest. I dedicated these past 2 months to this project and it didnt result in anything. Looking at the mods, I definitely made one that was too ambitious and had many flaws. Im just disappointed in myself. #Hytale #HytaleModding

The contest submissions have been blowing me away. Honestly didn't expect this volume or quality this early, and it's lighting a fire under me to push harder on the in-game browser so players can actually browse, try them, and see how much is already there. After voting wraps up, we're going to spotlight many submissions, including those that didn't get nominated! FYI, I'm purposely staying quiet on individual submissions while voting is still open. I want it to be fair, and the easiest way to do that is to keep my opinions out of the feed until the results are in :)

@BrackenStrike @viztur Actually it was redirection, not lightning bending. He learned to redirect the attack watching water benders. Lightning is another form of fire bending but very advanced. It's also why Ozai couldnt redirect the attack back to zuko or redirect back to aang during the finale.
