Breaking: @AlaskaAir just announced that it plans to acquire @HawaiianAir. Alaska will keep both brands separate, but merge the operating platform and loyalty program. Hawaiian will join the Oneworld alliance if the acquisiton is approved. Can't say I saw this one coming.

GOP Rep. Ken Buck, who has been speaking out against an impeachment inquiry, now tells me it’s “a good idea” for McCarthy to launch this inquiry, saying it removes a “distraction” and lets the House “focus on spending.”
He says “nothing changes” as Rs are already investigating.
