Sort of how Barack Obama felt about the birther nonsense, except for the fact that Obama actually was spending all his time working on real problems, hadn’t made conspiracy theories a feature of his campaign, and wasn’t hiding anything about his birth certificate.

Dear Mr. Morgan, The humanitarian situation in parts of Gaza is undeniably alarming. Hunger and a lack of basic supplies are real and distressing. However, suggesting that Israel is systematically causing this crisis is factually incorrect. Humanitarian aid has been entering Gaza since January. Temporary restrictions during March and April were driven, not by a policy of deliberate deprivation. These facts are publicly available and should be part of any balanced reporting. Solely relying on casualty figures and narratives released by Hamas – a party with its own strategic goals – falls short of journalistic standards. Nuance and verification are essential, especially in such a volatile and emotionally charged context. The current Israeli government under Netanyahu has drawn harsh criticism both domestically and internationally. Many Israelis view it as one of the most ineffective administrations in the country's history. The tragic events of October 7 made that painfully evident. Yet, political failure does not justify the distortion of facts or the spreading of narratives that fuel hatred. Statements that oversimplify complex realities or assign blanket blame risk doing more than just misinforming. They contribute to a climate in which antisemitism is normalized—and in some parts of Europe, even mainstreamed. Critical journalism is vital. So is accuracy. Objectivity must not be sacrificed for moral drama, especially when the stakes are this high. Facts are not optional. Responsibility starts with words. And public voices carry weight—especially in times of crisis.

There is no starvation in Gaza, no policy of starvation in Gaza, and I assure you that we have a commitment to achieve our war goals. We will continue to fight till we achieve the release of our hostages and the destruction of Hamas' military and governing capabilities. They shall be there no more.

There are two types of people who wear the yellow ribbon badge for those taken hostage by Hamas. 🎗️ There are those who earnestly want the return of the hostages and stand with Israel as a matter of humanitarian principle, and there are those who simply want to make a gesture, curry favour and move on. In both cases, they will not wear the yellow ribbon badge every day and all of the time, but you can tell one from the other because whereas one will put the badge on when getting dressed in the morning and take it off at night, the other will pop the badge on before a meeting and then pocket it straight afterwards. It shames our country that our Foreign Secretary falls into the latter category, jabbing his yellow ribbon badge into his lapel for a photo op with his Israeli counterpart a few days ago, and then pocketing it for his subsequent meeting with a leader of the Palestinian Authority — a cowardly, wretched act of appeasement, by a Foreign Secretary who is apparently content to meet with a leader who might be offended by the sight of solidarity with those innocent hostages. What craven, third-rate diplomacy is this? Is it the policy of the United Kingdom to wear principles as fancy dress? What an appalling and conscious act by our nation’s top diplomat.

@PiersUncensored @piersmorgan @GolanMay Piers, why do you never ask these Israelis spokespeople why Israel doesn't take all Gazan women and children into refugee camps WITHIN ISRAEL - to remove the risk of killing innocents while trying to eliminate Hamas??

Apparently I ruffled some feathers by saying Americans aren’t well educated. The truth hurts: 54% can’t read above a 6th grade level. 28% can only do level 1 math: basic addition and subtraction. We’re dumb, distracted and diluted. It doesn’t have to be this way.
