@drcarroll @mister_pc For clarification, rotavirus vaccine only given up to 32 wks and must be started prior to 15 wks of age and HPV vaccine given to 11-12yo (ok down to age 9). Vaccines are the ONLY thing which have eliminated an infectious disease. Some prevent cancer!

@AjvictoryMD If you give me the name of the CEO of the hospital, I’ll buy the instrument and send it to him and let him know I read on Twitter that his A/team couldn’t/wouldn’t produce it despite multiple asks.

I asked the OR for an instrument for TWO YEARS and the hospital still didn’t purchase it for me. It costs $175. My male colleague asked for an instrument which costs $1750 and got it in one month. I did 10x as many surgeries at that hospital as he did. #genderbias

@mahad_minhas Ugh I was asked to explain ONE MONTH. The month between graduating and starting residency, when I was (checks notes) MOVING ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

@RachMomDoc @mahad_minhas It was a 2 wk gap for me, moving 5 hrs away tho same state!🤣 I can’t believe this hasn’t changed in 30+ years !!!Don’t even ask me about getting a license in MN; I had to give the score and licensing test I took despite 25 yrs continuous license in TX.

@CadeyHarrel Since it takes an act of Congress to change M/C ( literally) and when Zostavax came out it was felt that there would be new immunizations and recs, easier to change part D, updates yearly. Result: mass confusion. #immunize
