In Tel Aviv yesterday night, I attended a powerful evening in Tel Aviv at Peres Center hosted by 🇫🇷/🇩🇪 Ambassadors @GerAmbTLV and @FJournes , with @AzizAbuSarah and @maozinon around their book «The Future is Peace». We need to listen to these courageous voices promoting dialogue over conflict.

Moving visit with 🇪🇺 Ambassador to Al Mughayyir village, where extremist settlers attacked residents by a school. I conveyed my condolences to the family of 14-year-old Aws Hamdi Naasan and to the Governor.

Reviewed with @PalestinePMO Mustafa follow-up of Global Alliance and AHLC meetings, and looked ahead to upcoming Palestine Donor Group meeting in Brussels to support PA and take stock of reform progress. Discussion addressed continued catastrophe in Gaza, mounting pressure in the West Bank as well as the dire financial situation of the PA.

As part of my regular engagement with the European Parliament, I met with MEPs @LynnBoylanMEP, @BJ_Ruissen, @ChloeRidel, and @AndreyKovatchev. Important exchanges to deepen understanding of the stakes, and strengthen awareness across institutions. I outlined the EU’s efforts to support a successful transition in Gaza and recalled the strong momentum emanating from the Global Alliance and AHLC meetings in Brussels.

Good meeting today with @CFSaundersUN, Acting CG of UNRWA. He provided a clear overview of ongoing reforms and current challenges. We also discussed UNRWA’s longer-term role. The 🇪🇺 reaffirmed its strong support. UNRWA remains an essential actor, notably in health and education.

I attended today’s Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg, as Ministers held extensive discussions on the Middle East. In-depth exchanges on Gaza and the West Bank. Useful follow-up on yesterday’s important Global Alliance and AHLC meetings in Brussels chaired by HRVP and NO.

The Global Alliance for the Implementation of the two-State solution convened at the Egmont Palace in Brussels, hosted by Belgium. Co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Norway, and chaired today by HRVP Kaja Kallas, the meeting gathered 83 delegations from countries and international organisations, demonstrating strong support and underscoring the centrality of security in achieving any lasting solution. High-level participation included the Palestinian Prime Minister, the High Representative for Gaza Nickolay Mladenov, as well as the Belgian and Norwegian Foreign Ministers. The 🇪🇺, as a co-founder of this Alliance, remains committed to keeping the Palestinian question high on the agenda through both strong political engagement and sustained financial support.

In Brussels this Sunday, I took part in the Senior Officials Meeting of the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee, hosted by Norway. With both Gaza and the West Bank high on the agenda, there was broad consensus on the urgency to advance across all fronts. The discussions proved particularly valuable in aligning key actors. Ensuring coordination rather than competition in our collective efforts. On the sidelines, I also held a series of insightful bilateral meetings with partners from NO, the UN, IMF, World Bank, as well as with the PA and NCAG. These exchanges helped deepen our understanding and push forward on a number of key issues.

في بروكسل اليوم، عقد الاتحاد الأوروبي اجتماعين بحضور أكثر من 70 دولة ومنظمة لدعم تنفيذ حل الدولتين، وتعزيز التنمية الفلسطينية وبناء الدولة. الاتحاد الأوروبي يواصل دعمه الإنساني والسياسي والتنموي من أجل سلام عادل ودائم في الشرق الأوسط.

أكّدت الممثلة العليا كايا كالاس خلال اجتماع التحالف العالمي لتنفيذ حل الدولتين اليوم في بروكسل على ضرورة بذل المزيد من الجهود لضمان احترام حقوق الإنسان والمساءلة، وحماية الشعب الفلسطيني، وإعادة طرح حلّ الدولتين بقوة على طاولة المفاوضات.

Great visit today to Egmont Palace, as we prepare the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution. A timely platform bringing partners together to advance concrete steps on security, stabilisation and governance in Gaza and the West Bank. Good work by the team behind the scenes to bring this together. Grateful to Belgium, and to FM @prevotmaxime , for hosting us in this remarkable setting. Ready to welcome participants next Monday.

Before leaving Cairo, I returned to the League of Arab States for an exchange with @faed_mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine. We discussed concrete steps to promote cooperation efforts between European and Arab States I also conveyed our invitation to the upcoming Global Alliance meeting.

Useful and timely exchange with Dr Ali Shaath and @NCAG commissioners on their essential work. We agreed on the importance of Palestinian ownership and the urgent need to answer Gaza challenges. As decided by UNSC resolution 2803 NCAG plays in that regard a key role. EU is ready to contribute to its full success. This is in line with EU steadfast support for building Palestinian capacities statehood with the aim to facilitate at the end of the scheduled transition period the return of the Palestinian Authority in Gaza.

As part of my mission to Cairo, I met @nmladenov, BoP High Representative for Gaza. He provided EU delegation a clear-eyed assessment of Phase 2 implementation, with a focus on the decommissioning and the ongoing discussions on this key issue. I reiterated EU's full commitment to ensure the success of phase 2.

Glad to meet 🇪🇬 FM Badr Abdelatty, discussing the implementation of the Trump Plan, Egypt’s mediation efforts on security in Gaza and the upcoming meeting of the Global Alliance in Brussels. I underscored Egypt’s key role and our strong partnership in advancing the two-State solution.
