Yesterday we welcomed @CFSaundersUN, @UNRWA’s new interim head to Baqa'a Camp in #Jordan to meet our great team of teachers, doctors and nurses and the #Palestine Refugees we are proud to serve.

🇺🇳🇪🇬 This week, @CFSaundersUN participated in @CairoPeaceKeep's workshop on preventing SEA in AU and UN peace operations. Officials & policymakers examined opportunities to align accountability frameworks, improve prevention mechanisms, & strengthen protections for survivors.

The escalation of conflict has affected millions of people in #Lebanon. On his first day of his tenure, @CFSaundersUN witnessed first-hand how #UNRWAworks in one of its emergency shelters. UNRWA launched its emergency response a month ago, to help thousands of people who have been forcibly displaced from their homes - with shelter, food, health and psychosocial support.

This morning, @CFSaundersUN addressed participants in three separate @UNITAR Military Gender Advisor (MGA) courses in Brazil 🇧🇷, Ghana 🇬🇭 & Zambia 🇿🇲. MGAs play a vital role in improving every aspect of peacekeeping, including protection from sexual exploitation and abuse.
