Life and work in Ukraine continues despite Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. We are proud to contribute to the construction of a new @superhumans_com centre in Odesa with energy equipment. Superhumans is one of Ukraine’s leading centres for war trauma which provides services to Ukraine’s defenders, as well as civilians whose lives have been upended by Russia’s war of aggression. In Pemba, Mozambique, community leaders, religious leaders and women took part in a workshop on Preventing Violent Extremism. Bringing together EU-supported projects implemented by @actionaidmoz, @fundacao_masc and AAAJC, with funding from @theGCERF and coordination by ADIN, the workshop strengthened local leadership, promoted dialogue and reinforced community-based responses. Empowering trusted local voices is essential to address the root causes of violent extremism. This is #EUForeignPolicy in action!

🇰🇪 🇪🇺 🇺🇳 From Planning to Practice: Kenya Holds CBRN Tabletop Exercise (TTX) 🚨☢️ TTX was conducted in Kenya to test coordination and response mechanisms for CBRN incidents. 🔎 Key highlights 🔹 22 representatives from 11 national institutions participated 🔹 Command, control and coordination arrangements were tested 🔹 Crisis communication and misinformation management were assessed 🔹 Lessons identified will inform future preparedness planning ⚙️ The TTX was implemented with the support of UNICRI, in partnership with @GOPAPACE, the ISEM Institute, the National Crisis Centre and the University of Lodz.
