We're supporting humanitarian mine action in #Lebanon, contributing to civilian protection & recovery efforts. Jointly with @UNDP_Lebanon we have delivered 6 mounted cranes, 60 safe phones & 3 ambulances to the Lebanon Mine Action Centre. This support will contribute directly to saving lives & enabling safe access to affected communities. This is #EUForeignPolicy in action!

We are proud to stand by Ukraine in its fight for its stolen children. We work to strengthen the capacity of Ukrainian authorities to locate, protect & secure the return of children at risk or unlawfully deported from temporarily occupied territories or forcibly transferred to the Russian Federation. We support the reintegration of those who returned, to ensure accountability and justice for them and to uphold initiatives like @BringKidsBackUA which are essential to keep momentum for this essential cause.

The #EUCBRNCoE Initiative supported the 1st national workshop dedicated to the development of Ukraine’s CBRN National Action Plan (NAP) – a strategic framework that enhances prevention, preparedness & response capacities against evolving CBRN risks. The workshop was funded by the EU. Appreciation to the 🇺🇦 authorities & participating institutions for their commitment & continued cooperation in advancing CBRN risk mitigation efforts. Women are essential in airport security. In Dakar, Senegal, the European Union 🇪🇺, with @UNODC under AIRCOP, brought together women officers from West & Central Africa to strengthen their operational role and impact, thereby ensuring safer airports. Exercise Bell Buoy concluded in Auckland after two weeks of training to protect the sea lanes that keep global trade moving. For the third year, the EU-funded CRIMARIO project supported partners through IORIS, strengthening maritime coordination and freedom of navigation. We work with EU-funded grassroots organisations across the UK to support, empower & connect young people & EU citizens. This week in London, "EU Voices" initiative launched a call for expressions of interest offering funding & a capacity-building support to grassroots organisations. We are strengthening #Moldova’s security and resilience 👉During her visit to 🇲🇩, @kajakallas inspected the equipment delivered via the #EuropeanPeaceFacility (EPF) as part of EUR 197.5 m support to the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova. This includes vehicles such as buses, trucks and one ambulance as well as telecoms devices and a 30 kW generator. Exercise Dinamo was a 3-day EU-funded field exercise testing national response to chemical and radiological threats during major public events, carried out in cooperation with the Government of Uzbekistan via the EU CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence. This is #EUForeignPolicy in action!

In Senegal 🇸🇳, the EU-funded Public Spaces+ project is strengthening the capacity of police and gendarmerie to protect public spaces from terrorist threats. 🐕 Canine training will help prepare security forces ahead of the 2026 Youth Olympic Games. Senegalese security forces joined an EU-funded Public Spaces+ visit to Spain’s MotoGP in Jerez. They observed real-time coordination of large-scale event security, from drones to counter-terrorism units. Circular business models enable stronger trade & investment ties. From Europe to Phoenix, the EU Cities Gateway Programme brought together 8 cities from Europe, Canada & the US for exchanges, site visits & workshops in Phoenix, the US. Visits on recycling, reuse & innovation highlighted how local solutions are driving the circular economy in practice, setting the stage for the 2nd Circular Economy Forum. Over two days, high-level talks focused on how to ensure that circular economy & energy efficiency creates jobs & resilient supply chains, recover valuable resources, & promote healthier communities.
