We are allocating an extra €15 million in humanitarian assistance to support the response to the Ebola outbreak affecting the DRC and Uganda. Safeguarding public health remains our priority as diseases do not stop at borders and cooperation is essential.

Yet across the world, too many LGBTIQ+ persons still face violence, discrimination, hate speech and stigmatisation simply for being who they are. #EuropeDay On 9 May futsal brought Europe & Cabo Verde together in Praia. More than 100 athletes, 10 teams and a lively crowd turned the tournament into a moment of friendship. Spain won the competition, but the real winners were the values and bonds that unite the EU and CV.
