Universal income is socialism. I’m laughing so hard at the people saying “hey, I will able to do hobbies and whatever I want” you do realize that’s the same things people who want socialism think will happen and it’s not even close to reality. This is a travesty. John represented the President in litigation challenging an election. That’s all. He lied about nothing. Reasonable minds can disagree about the 2020 election. He did what lawyers are supposed to do — represent disfavored individuals. And make no mistake, the elites, especially in bar apparatuses, disfavor and hate President Trump and anyone associated with him with a burning passion. No one representing Vice President Gore was disbarred for losing Bush v. Gore where the whole partial county-specific recount strategy Democrat lawyers devised there was ruled an unconstitutional violation of equal protection. Two-tiered system of justice and of bar discipline. Pray for John and his family and that John will speedily take his case to the U.S. Supreme Court and that they will grant cert and reverse this absolute nonsense.

If high-population blue states like NY and CA produce significant enough turnout, the members of this ‘compact’ will turn over their electoral votes to the Democrat even if their own voters chose to elect a Republican.
This will tremendously incentivize vote fraud in blue states to pad the numbers, as well as incentivize as much illegal immigration as possible for the same reason. This is also why Democrats so vehemently oppose Voter ID.
The idea now is to get as many warm bodies into blue states as possible and get them onto voter rolls in order to steal national elections via the ‘popular vote compact’.
The electoral college was designed specifically to prevent a tyranny of the larger states, and it has worked as intended for 250 years.
But now because Democrat policy is so incredibly radical and unappealing to national voters, and because the party is incapable of moderation or changing direction, they’re simply going to undo the very foundations of the country in an attempt to seize power.

People on the right who have been mentally modelling the world since they were kids, constantly updating and revising their mental model so that it’s able to reliably anticipate basic functioning of the world around us, so we can navigate the world without being blindsided all the time; have trouble internalising this:
- leftists don’t abide by the principle of non-contradiction
- they do not understand the world through abstract or ideal first principles which they then apply universally, in a predictable and stable manner
- like situations are therefore not alike
- everything is its own thing & has no bearing on anything else
- noticing patterns is racist hateful and evil so they stopped doing that a long time ago, pattern recognition is haram
Every position they hold is a unique stance that they imbibed from the media. They don’t start from an abstraction and think critically to rach their conclusion. They literally watched Colbert and had it drilled into their brain. They don’t have first principles or universal values. They do what they are told. Because it benefits their coalition to do so. That’s it.
That’s their whole worldview and it’s why they don’t flinch when they contradict themselves. They don’t have an “ideology” arrived at through abstract reasoning or critical thinking, they’re part of a cult that does everything humanly possible to prevent them from ever thinking about anything for any reason. They regurgitate the party line and experience affirmation and inclusion from their peers when they do. So they keep doing it. It’s that basic. They are Pavlov’s dog.
