1/n. Look at an old photo of your college friends. You’ll feel a quiet grief. The realization that the unguarded, alive version of you in that frame has slowly become a stranger—even to the men standing right next to you. A thread on male friendship in your 30s, and how we quietly let it die: 👇 @simonsinek @CoachDanGo

Bleeding gums aren't just a mouth problem. The bacteria that cause gum disease drive body-wide inflammation tied to heart disease — and new research links them to hardening heart valves. Simple defense: brush twice a day, floss once, and never ignore gums that bleed.

If you’re buying the base or mid variant of any car, don’t waste your money trying to make it look like the top variant. Make it drive like a better car instead. Here are the upgrades I’d actually recommend: ✅ Horn: Upgrade to a dual-tone horn from Hella or Bosch. It’s louder, clearer and gets noticed in chaotic traffic. ✅ Wiper blades: Replace the stock blades with Bosch Aerotwin, Michelin Stealth Ultra, or Valeo. They wipe cleaner, last longer and are a game changer during the monsoon. ✅ Headlamps: If your car has halogen bulbs, upgrade to premium halogens like Philips X-tremeVision Pro150, Osram Night Breaker Laser, or Philips RacingVision GT200. They improve night visibility without illegal LED conversions. ✅ Tyres: When the factory tyres wear out, switch to better rubber. Michelin Primacy 4 ST, Continental UC6, Bridgestone Turanza 6, or Yokohama BluEarth-GT AE51 can completely transform ride quality, braking and confidence. These upgrades won’t bake your car look better but it will surely enhance the driving experience.

I expected that to feel dark. Instead the life on the ghats felt LOUDER — like knowing the ending makes people actually read the page they're on.

The city treats death as a neighbour, not a stranger. Cremations burn in public view while chai is poured ten metres away.

There's a temple in Varanasi that leans further than the Tower of Pisa and drowns every single year. Nobody "fixes" it. That's the whole point of the city.

One day here is enough to refresh your mind for months!! This beautiful tent stay in the cold desert of Nubra is nothing short of paradise. The peace, the landscapes, the starry nights, and the silence create an experience you’ll never forget! If you’re planning a trip to Ladakh, this place deserves to be on your itinerary. I couldn’t recommend it more. Feel free to DM me for the property details. Trust me you’ll leave with memories that will stay with you for a lifetime!! 😍👌🏻

Crossed the first milestone on Atlas and those 2,500 Edge Miles are in! ✈️ I still miss the days when 2,500 Edge Miles could get you ₹10K worth of Accor stays. Nevertheless, Air India zindabad! 😄

Aging isn't just gym and diet. A new study of older adults found regular movie, museum, and theatre-goers had bodies ~3 years "younger" than those who rarely went—likely the social connection, not the art. Rule: book one outing every month or two.

So it turns out the battery is dead, and I had to take the car to the service center. The ETA is 3 hours for the battery change plus some adaptation and calibration. It is going to cost approximately 10k. 😆 Now I am just imagining the bill I might get if something happens to the fuel line due to non-compliant petrol. 😧

Monsoon myth: cooler weather means you need less water. You just feel less thirsty—you're still losing fluid. Don't wait for thirst; it's a late signal. Keep a bottle in view, sip through the day, and aim for pale-yellow urine.

A lot of life is like that. You don't always choose the weather. You do choose the noun.

What struck me: "trapped" and "sheltered" were the same facts. The difference was entirely the story we told about them.

We drove into a Himalayan blizzard on purpose. The road closed behind us. It was one of the best nights of that year.

@thsottiaux Love GPT-5.6 because it completes the task fully. Claude kept changing models, limits hit early even on 5X plan and it kept hallucinating. Way to go ChatGPT. Don't let Claude become a monopoly. You are dong superb work.
