@_JordanDecker I’ll do you one better: not only is the season long enough to determine based on 82/84 games who should be in, but since the NHL Playoffs are both the longest and most grueling in all of sports, there’s no need to have 2 teams play another game on top of that

Am I the only person who hates the thought of play-in games or series?
You play a long ass 82(84 starting next year) game season. That should be enough to determine who gets in or not.
If you’re not in a playoff spot by the end of game 82, sorry, you weren’t good enough.

@BaseballWRLD_ Pitches need to be in the strike zone not “touching” it. 99% of this ball is well above the zone here. Clipping a minuscule part of the zone shouldn’t overturn the call. I understand it presents a slippery slope of “how much ball needs to be in?” All I can say is more than this

@toasty_yosty2 I’m also very anti-overturning a ball to a strike if 0.1” of the baseball is in the strike zone. Make it a bigger chunk than that. Some of the overturns I saw in that Minny-BAL series were crazy

ABS has been great my one proposal is up it to 3 challenges. Every other major sport allows 2 but you have significantly more time to decide. ABS has made the game better and 3 will not slow it more instead of 2

Yep, Pohlkamp is going to boom next year. Already has two seasons of ranking top-five in his conference. A bulky defender who makes great plays on and off of the puck. Already shown he can play dominant hockey, even away from someone like Zeev One of my faves. #TheFutureIsTeal

@JomboyMedia It has never made sense to me why a home plate ump wouldn’t permit an appeal to a base ump on a check swing. Plate up is watching the strike zone…how are you going to be able to see the check swing too? The base umps are there with a better angle…use them

Alex Cora was ejected by CB Bucknor for arguing this check swing call on Trevor Story
Bucknor did not appeal to the first base umpire on the check swing, and he has already had several calls overturned on ABS challenges in today's game

@EastCoastSJSFan He genuinely would be more dead weight . If I trusted that Grier could handle a trade like that efficiently balancing the draft capital we’d maybe get in return I’d consider it but we’d end up with Nurse on our 2nd line D pair for 5 years with how things have been going 😭😭

Cole McKinney is going to be so good in the NHL
A defensive stalwart who can drive the puck. Plays a pro tempo, sometimes too fast for college teammates. Has been one of UM's most impactful players - as a freshman

This is one of the worst backchecks in NHL history by 71 teal.
There's so many little details to his game that he's lacking right now. They're going to continue to lose hockey games if that's how he's playing. That is pond hockey.

Tankathon has us sitting 7th and 20th overall.
The thought of us losing out to get a better pick irks me, but getting a better pick for defense doesn't seem like a bad idea either.
