In light of my explanations of the reason for parish donations and costs for baptism and memorial services and weddings, I believe people are confusing paying for the operating costs of the people involved with paying for the blessed sacraments themselves. Priests that demand a fee are sinning. Second, parishes must endeavour to be clear about their operating costs and why they charge what they do. Even a markup for their services must be clear that itโs not a bar to engage with Godโs grace. I know this because on the ground, priests do not charge their parishioners for baptisms or otherwise but the confusion arises from people that donโt attend the parish simply searching up a church on their website. To mitigate this, priests and their parish councils must endeavour to not appear money hungry, but at the same time be honest to the apostolic call that those that serve at the temple should be compensated for their service so that they can entirely focus on carrying out the fullness of their vocation. That said tho, where are the clerical private jets at?

@ExtraSaltedNuts @reformedroom It's ultimately up to their bishop to instruct and correct. It's not my jurisdiction and I'm not an authority in the faith.

Physicist Michio Kaku suggests dark matter isnโt matter at all. It is gravity leaking from a parallel dimension.
