We have taken the gospel of Mathematics to churches in the South East. We are sensitizing families and encouraging them to enroll their children in our free programs. We are very serious about eliminating illiteracy in the South East.

This morning, we conducted our first experiment in Abor Village, Enugu State. Every child in this hall is from the village. We gathered them together and delivered a world-class Mathematics lesson designed to build the strong foundations they need to compete confidently with students from the best private schools in the 2027 South East Maths & Science Olympiad. The most remarkable part? After the lesson, many of the children said they never knew Mathematics could be this easy. Several of them told us it was the best lesson they had ever attended. That alone says a lot about the learning gap we need to close. This is about more than preparing for an Olympiad. It is about eliminating the learning inequality between children born into privilege and those born into underserved communities. On Monday, we’ll run the next experiment in Imo State. If the results are equally promising, we’ll begin developing a model that can be replicated across villages throughout the South East. I’m beginning to believe that we don’t have an intelligence problem, we have an access problem. When children are exposed to world-class teaching, regardless of where they live, they rise to the occasion. If this model works at scale, it could fundamentally change how we democratize learning in Africa. We appreciate TN Onodingene Abor ICT Center, for making their facilities free for every child.

How inflation works. My current apartment was 600k in 2022; 800k in 2023; 1.2m in 2024; and 2.5m today. Nothing has changed in the quality btw.

Everyone should read this (esp high earners in Snr positions). One thing to keep in mind as you plan your taxes; monitor your total salary deductions if ure an employee. Under Nigerian labour laws, total deductions from an employee’s salary should not exceed 33%.

THIS IS THE WORST BUDGET PADDING IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. N1.3 BILLION FOR A FAKE AGENCY THAT DOESN’T LEGALLY EXIST. N8.4 BILLION MEANT FOR RURAL ROADS, SECRETLY BURIED INSIDE THE ALMAJIRI EDUCATION BUDGET. BILLIONS FOR CHURCHES AND MOSQUES WITH NO NAMES, NO ADDRESSES, NO ACCOUNTABILITY. AMBULANCES AND SOLAR STREETLIGHTS HIDDEN INSIDE RANDOM AGENCY BUDGETS ACROSS EKITI, OGUN AND KATSINA. AND LAWMAKERS WANT US TO BELIEVE THEY DIDN’T KNOW, WHEN EVERY SINGLE LINE PASSED THROUGH THEIR OWN COMMITTEES FIRST. THIS ISN’T A BUDGET. IT’S A CRIME SCENE WITH A COVER PAGE. NIGERIA DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS.

In 1992, Governor Michael Otedola of Lagos signed a controversial PR contract with a communications consultancy firm reported to be worth ₦400 million. The governor's spokesperson, Sina Ogunbambo, said the objective of the campaign was not to launder the image of the state government as rumoured, but to make people "sympathise with the government so as to promote loyalty and understanding." According to Citizen's report, the state's House of Assembly denied knowledge of the ₦400 million deal and ordered a legislative investigation. A lawmaker, Niyi Fabikun, noted that the contract's value represented 10% of the state's revenue allocation. Another lawmaker, F.O.A. Arebi, said it was insensitive at a time when thousands of school pupils could not sit for the last promotions exam due to the state's financial constraints. But the governor's spokesperson dismissed the controversy. "We will continue to use reputable external communications consultants," he said.

And to think that, before their behavior at this World Cup, I had always supported Argentina and their fans. I suspect that it will take me a long time to get over what billions of others and I have been shocked by over the last few weeks. #worldcup

The Netherlands has a total land area of approximately 41,543 km². In contrast, Niger State (Nigeria's largest state by landmass) covers approximately 76,363 km², but the Netherlands is the world's second-largest agricultural exporter, earning over $140 billion annually, while Nigeria generates around $6 billion.

“Apart from that, what else do you do?” Nigerians have been conditioned to think you must be doing multiple things to make money. You tell somebody what you’re doing and they ask “apart from that, what else do you do?” You people don’t know how to sleep or relax? There are people with multiple jobs whose total income is not up to N400k monthly. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not blaming you. I just hate what Nigeria does to us as a people. It is really not fair. People are doing care job alone and they comfortably pay their bills. In Nigeria, Lawyers and Doctors are being told to learn a skill. Learn what skill again? Engineers are learning other skills just to add another N200k to their salary. It is not fair ooo

10 years ago today, I was watching the Euro Cup final at a mall in Portugal. A lady literally passed out & had to be escorted out by ambulance after Ronaldo went off injured. & no one batted an eye at her because of the suspense of the game. It was one of the most grueling 90 minutes, and somehow everyone in the room kept faith that we could somehow pull it off in extra time. Someone at the front of the crowd began celebrating like a lunatic after looking at a notification on their phone, and everyone else was looking around confused asf. Until out of nowhere, São Eder takes a shot that changed the fate of our nation. Tables were flipped, tears were shed, and it was the single best moment of my life. I don’t think anybody slept that night. Horns honking until 3-4am. All eagerly awaiting getting to Lisboa to receive the players. & receive the players we did. I still have never felt a high like I did that day, and I am so grateful to be Portuguese in the generation where we brought home our first trophy. Nobody can quite understands what that trophy means to us besides the Portuguese community.
