The bluntest comment I've ever read about why students are turning to AI: “What kind of economy and educational system has made a robot feel more viable, attentive, more dialogic, and more intellectually available than the institution charging students for a degree?”

You know you really don't have to change your oil every 3000 miles right? That that is just a marketing ploy to get you to change your oil more often than needed. While it might have been true decades ago, it is no longer true for most newer models. If you look in most manuals many car makers today rec 5,000 miles to 10,000 or longer due to synthetic oil and modern engines. Not sure when to change your oil? check out your manufacturer recommendations. With the current shortage of some oil blends its important to know you can probably wait to change your oil until the supply lines are back to normal. Stop panicking.

Fat Joe said he bought courtside seats for tonight’s game but was told Knicks fans can’t be there. Here is Cavs response to The Post: “Playoff courtside seating is governed by a specific agreement that prohibits the resale or transfer of tickets without approval. All courtside ticket holders are required to comply with the terms of the single-game playoff agreement.” x.com/2Cool2Blog/sta…

I wonder how Wemby’s Marxist woke idolatry worshippers will feel when he signs that 5/$500 million contract the second it’s offered

I think this area might be the most racist place in the world

NEWS: The Cardinals and QB Jacoby Brissett are "significantly" far apart in negotiations to rework the last year of his contract for 2026, a source told ESPN. The gap in the negotiations puts into question whether Brissett, who has yet to report to Arizona's voluntary offseason program, will attend next week's voluntary OTAs, the source said. Important point on this: These tickets cannot be scalped or resold. Non-transferable and will be given to winners on the day of the games, at the site from which fans will be transported via (free) buses to MetLife Stadium.

Colman Domingo spoke to Men's Health about his experience coming out as gay to his family in the 1990s. The first person he told was his older brother: "I told him that I was gay. He looked at me and was just like, 'What?' He just couldn’t believe it. Eventually, he said, 'I don’t care, man. I love you anyway.' And he just hugged me. Then he said, 'Have you told anyone else?' I said, no. He said, 'Alright, this stays between you and me.”’ Her sister found out two days later: "She was pissed off. I said, 'Look, yes, it was really hard for me to tell him.' She said, 'No, no, no. Why didn’t you tell me first?' She was pissed off because she didn’t get the information first.’ Some time later, he told his mother—who accepted it calmly. Twenty minutes later, the phone rings and she says: “I talked to your stepfather.” She puts him on and he says, in his blue-collar masculine way, “You’re a good boy and there’s nothing you can tell me that would make me stop loving you.”’ 🔗menshealth.com/uk/fitness/a71…

NEW: Trump’s revenge tour is increasingly imperiling his midterm agenda on the Hill. “Those so-called victories over the last couple weeks are just a mirage. They are self-owns,” one senior Senate Republican operative told me. “We’re not actually beating Democrats, and we’re not actually advancing legislation. Instead, gas is up 45% due to our actions and the President’s decision to go to war with Iran. He’s focused on the ballroom. He’s announced a $1.8 billion restitution fund with zero details or congressional authority to do so. It just is crazy.” My latest with @adamwren and @sambbenson. politico.com/news/2026/05/2…

I can understand the cynicism towards "Content Creators," which like yeah, that's slop...but do people not remember where like The Lonely Island or Derrick Comedy started

In Roman Holiday, the famous “Mouth of Truth” scene became iconic precisely because it was improvised. While filming in Rome, Gregory Peck unexpectedly pretended his hand had been “bitten off” and hid it in his coat. Audrey Hepburn had no idea this was coming, so her reaction of shock and fear was completely genuine. That spontaneous moment turned into one of the most memorable scenes in the film, showing that sometimes cinema becomes timeless when it steps outside the script and captures real emotion.
