@i_danieall Thats the twang knob. Left will take you to bluegrass, right will take you to indie rock. Those are tge only two settings on a tele.

@i_danieall Good idea, but too many steps, too many tools, and too much time for it to be a good execution of the idea.

@DennisBowden18 @ApoloJedi_ Lots of places; playgrounds, graveyards, freshly excavated basements. My hobby is killing kangaroos and burying their skeletons in random places.

@RevIsaacWirtz It doesn’t matter if every scientist is a Christian, exactly none of them are using religion or prayer to solve problems.

I'm not sure what world people think we live in where scientists are all atheists. They think so highly of themselves that they cannot comprehend that some of the greatest contributions to science in history were made by people who believed they were studying God's creation.

@cirnosad It’s it possible he’s just a gigantic moron who barely knows what’s going on around him and chose to use that word because he’s a gigantic fucking moron?

BREAKING NEWS: Trump finally admits that he used nuclear weapons against Iran. This is an official admission. I don't want to hear another word from the collective of ret*rds claiming every single nuclear explosion is a depot explosion or a thremobarbaric bomb.

Slavery in the Old Testament was more like indentured servitude. It was the only feasible welfare policy for the destitute. You swapped your personal liberty for security in a household. You said, "Please house and feed me and mine, and we will work for you." Otherwise, what was there? No centralized center for distributing goods, and for nomadic peoples, no centralized anything for anything. The Old Testament also made rules to keep the evil of the practice to a minimum. For example, slaves could be educated and often rose to high positions, e.g., as advisors to royalty. Slaves could become wealthy and buy their freedom. If you kidnapped someone and made him a slave, you were put to death. If a slave escaped from his master for whatever reason, you were not allowed to return him. If you harmed so much as a tooth of your slave, you had to let him go free—in other words, no person was allowed to keep a slave if he mistreated him or her. Slavery in Western countries would never even have gotten off the ground had these rules been followed; the first rule alone would have prevented it.

@NancyRPearcey Same chapter: “Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.”

@DavidAn1611 @NancyRPearcey So you don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about and trying to figure out how much stupid bullshit you can try to slip in while arguing that slavery is actually a good thing, got it. Well, get on to your dumbfuck argument in defense of the barbaric practice of owning humans.

@evilsteveve A theory remains a theory until sufficient evidence upgrades it to uncontested fact. Darwin's theory of evolution remains a theory to this day.

@haderax1 Hard, hard disagree. It's fifth on my overall AC list. It did a lot I didn't like, like replacing the whistle with cherry bombs and removing bullet shield enemies. But 95% of the issues people had boiled down to glitches. Some didn't like the story. I loved it.

@mdreimers @NancyRPearcey It’s all right there in the holy book you’ve never bothered to read. The only way to argue that ancient slavery was somehow different or more moral is to either lie, or uncritically repeat the lies of others.
