$100k → $1M with eCom - Day 7 creatives are def important but a funnel that's dialed in, increases revenue AND profit. last week, worked on prod 2's funnel and without aggressive scaling, ROAS increased. today, worked on prod 1's funnel, started the A/B test, lets see if it rips. wrote 6 ads today, overall feeling more productive than yesterday. touching grass does help you think clearly. im also grateful that I dont have to wait for a weekend to take a break. yesterday's 7 ATCs but it didn't pan out for ol e dawg​ a few of those could still trickle in as purchases over the next 24-48 hours but i'm not waiting around​ I’m happy with how I executed and reacted to the early data​ launched an initial batch of ads, made a second batch that performed better​ built an advertorial around the angle with the most promise, but the product just didn't show the signs to keep investing​ Gonna take my L​ But I honestly think that makes this challenge much more interesting ​ as I've noticed most people that do challenges already come with a winning product that's picking up traction​ So you never truly see the beginning moment as we all know just to get to that point of having a winner​ it usually takes weeks to months of testing As typically even for the best dropshippers, your hit rate is going to be around 15 to 20% even when you do everything right. ​ So gotta keep following the process and control my inputs, detach from the outcome​ can’t be studying as they got some solid native style image ads ​ It’s crazy to me to see the contrast between those two brands and a legacy giant like proactive who's obviously doing more revenue because they've been around forever​ but proactive's creatives are so staged and fake it's borderline unwatchable​ they didn't recruit the right creators and you can feel it in every ad​ barely any brands though in this niche are really executing the yapper style ugc well​ almost no one doing native style image ads either with proper long form copy​ definitely a marketing gap opportunity for lil ol me​ like i mentioned yesterday​ The ad gameplan will be 2 sub avatars, 2 angles each, 4 ad sets total with 4-5 ads in each​ 5th ad set of nothing is nothing but the top performing ripped ads with metadata edited​ product page is done using the new kaching template, excited to see how that puppy does​ 30% off subscriber discount, kept the fake bogo offer structure for one more test​ above the fold has the subscription stack, bullet point benefits, subdescription, and low stock urgency for heavy social proof since this niche needs it​ below the fold opens with multiple before and after reviews, got a solid design from section.store​ then a problem section that shifts their belief on the actual root cause, followed by a how it works section, then video reviews, etc, etc​ All traffic will go to the same product page as I have copy in it for both subavatars​ if a sub avatar pulls ahead in this test, listicle will be the next move directly based on the winning angle​ absolutely fucking my sleep cycle tonight so tomorrow morning i can wake up to real data instead of having to wait to launch for Tuesday​ Working on the image ads as I type this lol​ got 7 more products in the queue that passed my criteria after quotes came in money today​ (watched swingers last night and I can’t stop saying “you’re so money” to everything”, 6.5/10 movie)​ realistically i just need one of these next 8 day 241 in ecom. long post here but it’s for those asking about my profit margins. i honestly don’t track my profits i still need to hire a bookkeeper & i also cannot figure out how to get my triple whale to calculate profit margins correctly. BUT i do keep track of my cogs & i did the math the other day of adding up my all time cogs plus adspend, & then my all time revenue. & i’ve done around $140,000 in revenue & $137,000 on adspend & cogs lol. plus chargebacks, refunds, fees, my video editors, subscription tools, etc. i’m negative. but that’s fine i’m not in this for quick profits i’m in this for the long game. that’s $140K worth of learning & i’m trying to build something with mrr that i can exit one day. my mrr store is only less than 3 months old & i have $12K in mrr stacked & doing $2K days. the profits will come. this is a crazy 7 days a week 365 grind & most of you beginners are in for a rude awakening if you stay in this game long enough. a lot of the mfs posting revenue screenshots on here will never (truthfully) talk about how much profit they actually make cause chances are it’s slim to none & they just want you to buy their course from their big revenue screenshot. & they’re prob blackhat. also whoever says you only need like 1-2K to start ecom is setting people up for failure. you’re not gonna print money from day 1 on your first product. & you don’t want to have to rely on your shopify payouts to stay above water. ecom is expensive. you need money on hand to scale & pay invoices & pay off your credit cards & many more things. this shi is draining both mentally and financially. but if it was easy everyone would do it
