We now know the next African members up for election to the #UNSC: @Ghanaunmission ('22-'23) replacing @Niger_ONU (West Africa seat rotating back to Anglophone countries) @Diplomatiegabon ('22-'23) replacing @PmTunisia (seat rotating back from North Africa to Central Africa)

... it also necessitates us to work together as equal partners in addressing the challenges. This perception & feeling of male superiority (plainly put) must end!!!

The angst over insecurity in the country is understandable, but not an excuse for a Governor to say “...for this reason, I have upgraded women to men”. Durable solutions to security challenges requires us to recognize the agency & potentials of women & men in their own rights ...
