Sad for sure. Most of them while rightfully calling it any acts of objective antisemitism also unconditionally support the persecution, murder in West Bank, slaughter of children in Gaza. No excuse for antisemitism but only a liar would say it isn't a significant factor. If an Irish person went around England openly supporting the IRA atrocities and got a less than positive reception would many support their campaign against anti Irish bigotry? Either believe in morality & justice or one does not. Many Jewish people do publicly distinguish themselves from the crimes against humanity committed inaccurately in their name.

It's jarring to drive past a synagogue with visible Gardaí patrols and private security. A sad reflection that our tiny Jewish community, with deep Irish roots, now requires this level of vigilance just to gather for prayer.

This is wholly unreliable. To be tax resident elsewhere and fulfill a PAYE role in Ireland is unlikely to be possible for too long. There is a special tax breaks that MNCs can avail of to spare senior high paid emoyees the extortion that is the Irish PAYE tax rate but it seems only their proved employees can get that. "Tech sales" is broad, many roles are not direct sales with objective results, grads looking for them are ten a penny. Proposition that you can keep hustling up in Ireland is likely less reliable. I would argue for a young man, construction is a better more probability favourable way to stack cash, have lower living costs. Unlike tech sales, 50% of the competition is removed.

What I’d do as a European graduate to escape the corporate rat race >Get into tech sales in Dublin 🇮🇪 (any language) >€70–100k starting comp >Switch jobs / get promoted every 18–24 months → +€20k jumps >0% capital gains tax in Ireland for expats on stocks >Build an aggressive portfolio → target €1M Then make the move: >Tech sales in Spain: Barcelona/Madrid 🇪🇸  >Beckham Law → 24% flat tax & 0% capital gains tax for 6y >Same job, but now it funds lifestyle not survival >Rooftop apartment, sun, freedom >Learn Spanish >Date spanish 10s >Drink red wine >Run at sunrise / sunset >Workout >Eat tapas >Keep investing like a maniac >Grow port to €5–10M >Follow Retail Mourinho to make it happen Endgame: >Liquidate (sell port without paying taxes) >Move to the coast or whatever country you want >Buy a house wherever you want >Build a family >Win life -RM

Irish Insulting Irish Americans an annual occurence now You would not have traveled far to hear the most inaccurate and vituperative column on the Irish this Saint Patrick's Day. Finn McRedmond, writing in The Irish Times, pronounced Irish America dead because Mayor Zohram Mamdani  gave a perfunctory reply to a question about Irish freedom, McRedmond interpreted his responseas the death of Irish America, a classic snooty and  ignorant perspective on Irish America all too common in the Irish media. The death of Irish America is predicted annually, usually at this time of year.If you go back in the history books, someone will have written off Irish Americans as finished, only to find the community resurgent again and again.McRedmond writes off Irish America on the basis that a Muslim has been elected to the Mayoralty and wasn't briefed on the political scene in the North. Ergo this new generation of politicians will no longer be interested in Irish issues. What palaver. If she had taken the time to do basic research she might have discovered that both frontrunners for the presidency in 2028  are not only Irish American but also clearly consider it a very important part of their heritage,The leading Democrat, according to the polls, is Gavin Newsome who very often, refers to his Irish heritage from Sligo, Dublin and Cork. His great-grandfather was an Irish street cop.His father, Judge William Newsom was chairman for many years of the Irish Forum in New York , a political gathering to discusss Northern Irish issues—which brought in both Unionist and Nationalist speakers. Governor Newsom was often present with his father at that event. On the Republican side, the front runner is Vice President JD Vance who told an audience at a breakfast in the Vice President's home on.Saint Patrick's Day that to understand him a person must understand Scots Irish culture. “To all of Ireland, to all of our wonderful Irish Americans, and everybody who just loves an Irish American, happy St. Patrick's Day!That hardly sounds like disinterested Irish Americans and there are several others likely contenders for The White HouseSenator Chrs Murphy of Connecticut  for instance,is widely respected and is very knowledgeable on Irish issues.Irish Americans are used to being the butt of Irish jokes and sneering commentary. Perhaps they need to remember  there might still be bodies on the streets of northwrn Ireland but for President Clinton's intervention

I support Carrie Prejean Boller 💯! She stopped by my office today with her husband, and I gave her one of the debt badges that I invented to show my appreciation for her bravery with respect to the White House Religious Freedom Commission. I’m inspired by her resolve.

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

Not good. It will be blamed on us because we initiated the war. Pick your "friends" wisely. Qatar Energy CEO tells Reuters: Two out of 14 of our LNG trains and one out of two of our gas-to-liquids (gtl) facility were damaged in the attacks we will be losing 12.8 million tons per year of LNG for three to five years, around 17% of Qatar’s export LNG We may have to declare force majeure on long-term contracts for up to five years for LNG supplies to Italy, Belgium, Korea and China. bnnbloomberg.ca/business/2026/…

It is a delusional smug sense of sophistication amongst many in the Irish political and media clique to be publicly distanced from the faith not only that most of them were raised in but actively practised as adults for decades. Maybe reinforced in the secular EU but certainly not in the US where freedom of religion is long established and faith of all forms broadly respected.

It appears that @OCallaghanJim is now deliberately suppressing data available to him upon request that is of objective public interest, so as not to undermine wider deceitful narratives promoted by his Govt.
