On March 26, 2026, Anthony Rene Bustamante was taken into custody near 12th Avenue and West Irvington Road after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Investigators believe the shooting arose from an altercation between two groups of teenagers who are known to one another. One of the males who sustained gunshot trauma has been released from the hospital, while another remains under treatment. This remains an active investigation.
