Five years ago today, ten people went to the grocery store and never came home. A gunman opened fire at King Soopers in Boulder, Colorado—a grocery store not too different from the one I was shot in front of. No community should ever know this pain. Today and always, my heart is with the victims’ families and the Boulder community.

The data matters, and numbers do not lie. We must fundamentally change the way we manage school finances. Community members need to let your elected officials know this must be addressed. We are elected to represent your voice. I often get outvoted 1 to 4 on budget matters, but you the people are in charge.

@SandraForAZ Very poor decisions at district: non-academic student support services spending now at $1609 PER PUPIL, over $300 more than peer districts. Rate of increased $ in these services over past 5 yrs far exceeds $ to instruction. Now, for every $100 on instruction, $22.71 goes to SSS!

More people need to read the insurance policies they pay for If the language is ambiguous ask your agent lots of questions If your agent can’t or won’t answer them, go somewhere else

The dishwasher broke My wife said "good thing we have the home warranty" I said nothing I've been paying $62 a month for three years for this moment $2,232 for the peace of mind that when something breaks someone will come to the house and tell me it's not covered I called 47 minutes on hold They sent a technician Arrival window: Tuesday through Thursday between 8am and 5pm My analyst delivers faster than that And he still hasn't fixed the gridlines He showed up Wednesday at 4:47pm Looked at the dishwasher Opened the door Closed the door Touched something underneath Said "not covered" 90 seconds That's faster than my bank lets me prove I'm human I said "what's covered" He said "the motor" I said "what's wrong with it" He said "not the motor" I said "convenient" He said the service fee is $75 I paid a man $75 to open my dishwasher, close my dishwasher, and say two words My analyst could do that And he's not even that good I called the warranty company back 38 minutes on hold Requested the policy 129 pages I read all 129 pages Because that's what I do The coverage section is 34 pages The exclusions section is 58 The business model is right there In the margins Where nobody reads Except me Page 91 says "all mechanical and electrical components essential to appliance function are covered under standard service" Page 104 excludes control panels A control panel is an electrical component essential to appliance function Their own document contradicts itself 13 pages apart I highlighted both Sent them an email Subject line: "Plz fix. Thx." Attached both pages No other context Took them three days to send a technician Took them 4 hours to call me back when I found the loophole Funny how that works They covered the repair Waived the $75 And I canceled the warranty anyway Because a contract that contradicts itself isn't a contract It's a suggestion My wife said "so we're canceling" I said "we're canceling" She said "and the dishwasher" I said "fixed. They're covering it." She said "how" I said "I read the policy" She said "all 129 pages" I said "the exclusions section starts on page 47. The coverage section ends on page 34. There are 13 pages between them where they hoped nobody would look." She looked at me Then she said "you're unbelievable" I said "I just saved us $744 a year and got a free dishwasher repair. I'm not unbelievable. I'm thorough." She looked at the ceiling The dishwasher works now The warranty is canceled And the policy has been read By at least one person Probably the first Make common sense common again Plz fix. Thx. In New Mexico, water is life! But, we know it may be a difficult year—which is why we must do everything we can to protect our precious waters. Today on World Water Day — we’re talking about our water, the weather, and investments we’re making in our acequias, water systems, and science across the state. Because we’re in this together and working every day to protect the lifeblood of our state. 💧❤️

~29% of Pima County voters participated in the RTA Next election. As a result, taxes will continue to be 0.5% higher for the next 20 years—even after the previous 20 years of RTA failed to deliver. And now, despite that added revenue, Tucson is raising water and trash utility costs because they somehow can't balance the budget. Maybe, just maybe, it's time for folks to get serious about local elections.

I live in a town of less than 1000 with 2 bars in it and zero traffic lights. I have to drive 40 miles for anything more than a Walmart and 17 miles to get to one of those. I’m perfectly happy not being around people that just piss me off.

How do people in the suburbs genuinely look forward to Friday night on the couch, Saturday morning at Costco, and call that a weekend? Like you really moved out of the city just to LARP as your parents at 34?

Glassman vs. Petersen: A Clear Choice for Arizona Attorney General The race for Arizona Attorney General is beginning to take shape, and Republican voters are already seeing a stark contrast between the candidates—Lt Col Rodney Glassman and Warren Petersen. Earlier this month at the LD12 meeting, both candidates were scheduled to attend. However, what should have been a straightforward opportunity for Republican voters to hear from both men turned into something much more telling. Warren Petersen reportedly refused to speak unless Rodney Glassman went first and appeared visibly frustrated upon learning Glassman would be in attendance. That moment raised an important question: why avoid sharing the stage? On Saturday, March 21st, both Rodney Glassman and Warren Petersen were scheduled to speak in Prescott. However, Petersen was a no-show—once again avoiding the opportunity to go head-to-head with Glassman. This is becoming a troubling pattern. If Petersen is unwilling to stand on the same stage as his political opponent, how can Arizonans expect him to stand up for them when it matters most? Leadership requires showing up, engaging in tough conversations, and defending your ideas in front of voters. Yet Petersen appears to be doing the opposite—going so far as to avoid even being in the same room as Glassman. Arizona needs an Attorney General who is willing to face challenges directly, not sidestep them. This race is just getting started, and already we’re seeing avoidance instead of accountability. Is that what Arizonans want? More importantly, is that what Arizona needs? Debates and forums are a fundamental part of the political process. Voters deserve to see candidates side by side, compare their ideas, and evaluate their qualifications. Yet Petersen’s reluctance to engage—even in the same room—suggests an unwillingness to face that comparison. And when you look at the candidates’ backgrounds, the contrast becomes even clearer. Rodney Glassman has significantly outraised Petersen, nearly three to one, demonstrating strong grassroots and donor support. More importantly, Glassman brings real legal experience to the table. The role of Attorney General is not ceremonial—it requires someone who understands the law, has practiced it, and is prepared to defend Arizona in court. By contrast, Warren Petersen has never represented a client, argued a case in court, or prosecuted a criminal matter. He has also never ran outside of his solidly republican district, meaning he has not yet been tested in a competitive statewide race. While Petersen has built relationships within the legislature, those connections alone do not equate to the legal experience required for Arizona’s top law enforcement position. Glassman has 17 years of legal experience. The choice is clear. It’s also worth noting that Petersen is term-limited in his current role, which is why he is seeking this office. He has the backing of a well-known political network, but that raises another important question: is he being advanced because he is the best candidate—or because he is the most connected and will do what he is told? Arizona voters must decide what they want in their next Attorney General. Do we want someone guided by political insiders, or someone prepared to independently represent the people of this state? Congressman Gosar has endorsed Glassman for Attorney General and Biggs for Governor - stating he trusts both to do the job. Sheriff Jerry Sheridan also endorses and trusts Glassman. This race is about more than politics—it’s about transparency and leadership. And voters deserve a candidate who is willing to stand on a stage, defend their record, and earn their vote. @rodneyglassman @JerrySheridan24
