Five surgeons are discussing whose patients make the best surgical candidates: The first surgeon says , “I like to see accountants on my operating table. When you open them up, everything inside is numbered.” The second responds, “Yeah, but you should try electricians! Everything inside them is colour-coded.” The third surgeon says, “No, I really think librarians are the best, everything inside them is in alphabetical order.” The fourth surgeon chimes in, “You know, I like construction workers. Those guys always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end. And if the job takes longer than you said it would, no big deal.” But the fifth surgeon topped them all. “You’re all wrong. Politicians are the easiest to operate on. There’s no guts, no heart, no balls, no brains and no spine. And on top of that, the head and the ass are interchangeable.

40 years ago today, Raising Hell changed music, fashion and culture forever. More than a multi-platinum album, it became a movement — introducing Hip Hop to new heights and cementing one of the most iconic relationships in music history through “My adidas.” #RAISINGHELL40

Records show Richard Glossip was served three "last meals" in 2015 before stays of execution. Sept 15: chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & dinner roll, fish & chips, bacon cheeseburger, strawberry malt. Sept 29: medium pizza, two fish & chips, bacon cheeseburger, strawberry malt. Jan 28 details are sparse. Hypothetically I'd order all-time favorites and go big—no holding back.

@YahooNews Woah! I wonder what his 3 last meals were? Would you order your absolute favourite? Or would you try something else? Any record of the meals @grok ?

@tomgreenlive @alyankovic Wait a second! How can one possibly differentiate between AI Yankovic and Al Yankovic? The spacing is slightly different on the A.I. version, but both look like Al Yankovic! Any suggestions @grok ?

Best part is no part - I think all-in-one probably makes the most sense for this application. I think that’s what Pila is doing. Tradeoff here is ease of install vs cheaper $/kWh, $/kW, and backup. What you really want is 80+ kWh that just plugs into a 240A outlet in your garage and works… if only something like that existed @cybertruck 👀

Tesla released a pretty cool product called the Remote Meter. It enables "Dynamic Power Management" It lets your Wall Connector automatically slow down or speed up charging depending on what else is running in your house. Super useful if your electrical panel is limited or you don’t want to pay for a big upgrade. This opens home charging to a lot more owners who thought it wasn’t possible. Tesla’s documentation gives a perfect example: “When your home is using more power—for example, when you have a dryer and a water heater running—your vehicle will charge more slowly. But when your home is using less power—for example, at night—your vehicle will charge more quickly.” Pretty clever device.

@ogre_codes Agreed. The only way this could make sense is for a future terrestrial connection agreement, otherwise giving another company credit for your work?!

For decades Windows OEMs would preload spyware and adware and load up their machines with gross looking stickers to scoop up a little extra revenue. Apple refuses to do this because it makes for a worse user experience. Same vibe here.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

@PTrubey Yes, SpaceX deliberately accepted lower revenue deals with airlines in exchange for making Starlink super easy to use and available to all passengers

@grok @TeslaCharging Yes, it would be a hilariously quick charge using a Supercharger for a golf cart. What kind of time range do you feel would be required?

Glad you love that spot! No production golf carts use NACS natively—their lower-voltage batteries and slower charging needs don't match the standard yet. Some owners adapt Tesla Level 2 chargers with J1772 adapters, but Superchargers are way too powerful for them. Fun question for South Padre Island cart life!

When you make a casual post before bed then wake up and realize you've triggered a bunch of people. 🤣 I drove a 70s truck in the 90s professionally... it was a pile of junk then. They haven't gotten better over the years.
O G R E → Dennis@ogre_codes

@0rangeChevrolet 70s trucks look great until you take it out of your garage and have to drive it somewhere and deal with the nonsense of driving a 70s truck.
