@KingMntungwa 3/ As clinicians we occasionally see the consequences of inhalational exposures like this. Fire extinguishers save lives in fires. But inhaling the discharge as a “challenge” exposes the lungs to a chemical particle dose that can cause real injury. Not smoke. Not harmless. 🚒

@KingMntungwa 2/ The powder is mildly acidic. In the lungs it can cause airway irritation and inflammation → coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. In larger exposures it may lead to chemical pneumonitis.
