Today at Gacuriro TSS, we hosted Village Way, an Israeli delegation of high school teachers. They are in Rwanda as part of an academic exchange aimed at promoting collaboration and strengthening bilateral cooperation in education. The engagement focused on sharing insights and exploring practical strategies to accelerate the development of TVET in #Rwanda. As part of the visit, the delegation also toured the school’s workshops to gain first-hand exposure to the hands-on training environment that supports skills development.

In this event, 300 teachers stood in the room carrying the pride of 2,000 ! Full of energy, ready to go back into their schools to continue implementing what they learned!

Today, we celebrate the Graduation of 2000 TVET teachers who chose to grow. These teachers were trained in AI and Digital Technologies to deliver world-class education. Funded by @SDF_Rwanda @RTB_Rwanda #LeadersInTVET

Yesterday , I received a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Embassy Kigali presented through the Exchange Alumni program of the U.S. Department of State for my leadership of the @YALIRwandachap This recognition means a lot, but honestly, it belongs to every person who showed up , the alumni who gave their time, and the community members who believed that education and engagement can actually change things. Being part of YALI has taught me that real impact isn't loud. It's consistent. It's showing up when it's inconvenient, opening doors for others before yourself, and trusting that small acts of service add up to something bigger. Thank you to the entire U.S. Embassy Kigali team for this acknowledgment. And thank you to my YALI family . You are the reason this work matters. We keep going. @GeorgeKosimbei

Sometimes we don't value it the most, but investing in women is clearing the path for the talent that’s already there, and yes, we can make it real. Why not give them the real capital and procurement deals they need to scale? Why not open doors for them in STEM and TVET? Again, we can make the boardroom open, It’s not enough for them to be in the room; they need to be at the table where the big decisions happen. The reality is that, when one girl rises, she takes her community with her.
