Tulikua na Rural Medical Aid miaka ya nyuma ila baada ya COs na CAs tukafuta. Tukawa na AMO miaka ya hivi karibuni baada ya MDs tukafuta. Mwaka 2007 tuliandaa utaratibu wa Non Lab Testers ili kuwepo kwa task shifting maana hatukua na wataalamu wa maabara kipindi hicho. Leo wapo kila kona, wapo kila ngazi ya elimu, tumewapika wakafanye vipimo kwa usahihi. Kwa nini tunaona ni muhimu ajira za upimaji zishikwe na hawa Non Lab Testers? Hii sio self testing ambayo huwa na vipimo maalumu kama kile kipimo cha oral HIV test ambacho kila mtu anaweza kufanya.

Sasa hivi kwenye HIV interventions non-lab testers wanakua capacitated with HTS basic knowledge na wanafanya vizuri sana kwenye settings zote kuanzia facility hadi community. Technology has done it all.. There is nothing so special hapo! ukubali ukatae😀

Naona kuna mafunzo ya Non Lab Testers ZOOM leo. Kwa nini uchukue mtu ambaye sio mtaalamu wa vipimo, umfundishe kwa ZOOM ili akafanye vipimo wakati mtu aliyekaa shule yupo? Kwa nini asiajiliwe mtaalamu aliyesomea?

@FestoNgadaya Tunaenda kwenye self testing now kama hao watu watatumika pia kwenye self testing unaweza wndelea ku advocacy lakini swala la testing hasa HIV kwa sasa sio la mtaalam wa lab tuu, so I think yale mengine uliyokua unaongelea ni sawa ila kwenye hili rethink.
