Codex team is aware of reports of GPT-5.5 performing worse for some users and investigating. We don't have anything conclusive yet and systems are healthy but we will share updates as we go.

@BennettBuhner Yeah the new redesign I heard was steep, I use a m5 pro with 24gb ram and 1tb storage in the darker color and codex is amazing in it and ChatGPT. Gotta try ChatGPT atlas too, it’s a great browser from OpenAI I daily and it can use agent mode and everything organize tabs its great

@EdsterH09 Yeah, I intend to get M5 Max; was doubting it and thinking M6 Max, but some tips have come in saying pricing will be drastically higher due to their supply of cheaper memory running dry at this rate.

He bought a third Max plan, begin the nerf. Keep going. Ok stop. Now break the TUI, make it spazz the fuck out every time he resizes the window. Change default thinking mode to low and make him change it back every time he opens a new thread. Now re-release 4.6 and call it 4.7. Ok nerf it again. Perfect. Now ban his account.
