Four failed hijackings? Fortunately, KZN criminals may just be getting dumber by the day. Check out this statement from KZN VIP: “It is alleged that five male suspects, armed and travelling in a grey Mazda 2, attempted to hijack three separate victims at different locations within the Redfern and Whetstone area. While fleeing the scenes, the suspects reportedly lost control of their vehicle and collided head on with another vehicle on Fernham Drive. The driver and passenger of the affected vehicle sustained minor injuries. Following the crash, the suspects abandoned their vehicle and fled on foot in the direction of Industrial Park Drive. During their escape, they allegedly attempted a fourth hijacking, which was unsuccessful. KZN VIP Emergency Services responded to the scene alongside SAPS and Metro Police. All victims involved were assessed and found to be in stable condition with no serious injuries reported. The suspects have since evaded arrest, and investigations are ongoing.”
