A lot of Kenyans are a confused and mediocre lot. How do you expect a revolution from charlatans who have spent more than 5 years in parliament without introducing any progressive legislation, which is their primary role?
If the two Linda Tumbo groups were progressive, they would be robustly using the floor of parliament, parliamentary privileges and the trappings that come with being an MPig to ensnare @WilliamsRuto and UDA, including tabling an impeachment motion against Ruto—and using it to rally Kenyans on concrete progressive ideas, vision and programs.
It doesn’t matter whether the motion passes or fails. What’s important is using it to ARTICULATE a progressive vision and to shake up Ruto & Co.
Why haven’t they unveiled any platform different from Ruto’s? Spending hundreds of millions of mostly misappropriated public funds on political rallies is NOT an alternative vision and won’t transform the incurably defective colonial state.
