This is so awesome it made my day! A British leftist is telling a group of Iranians that they should be ashamed of themselves for waving the Israeli flag. She tells them they are "brainwashed" Their replies are nothing short of EPIC! Watch the whole thing!

Britain is building a culture where people think they can do what they like and nothing will happen. All too often, they’re right. Crime, disorder and welfare dependency all point to the same problem: a country where rules exist, but no consequences follow. We must change this.

What I don’t understand is why giving away The Chagos Islands was so very important to Keir Starmer. Maybe I’m naive or something. But I don’t get it. It eludes me.

Dear Young People As some of you are about to vote for the first time, a little factoid about the Greens… If you are new to the concept of socialism, essentially your leaders will promise to redistribute wealth so that everyone is equal, but somehow those same leaders will end up far wealthier than anyone else. Every - single - time. You’re welcome.

After appearing to express his support for the tolls yesterday, claiming that it could a “joint venture” in the future between Iran and the United States, President Trump has now stated that Iran “better not be” charging fees on tankers transiting the Strait of Hormuz, and if they are “they better stop now!”

EXCLUSIVE: Green Party local election candidate calls for "Death to England." Alfie Jay Rees, a Green Party member and candidate in this year’s local elections, standing in Thurrock, has called for "Death to Israel", "Death to America", and "Death to England". Rees, who is standing in the Tilbury St Chads ward in Thurrock, has also called for Israel to be "flattened" so that a Palestinian state can be built in its place. In the text messages, he also claimed to be part of the Green Party executive committee.

Khomeini and the Iranian Revolution of 1979 is one of history’s most brutal lessons in political betrayal. The revolution was not only carried by Islamists. It was a broad coalition. Leftists. Marxists. Intellectuals. Nationalists. All united by one thing - they wanted the Shah gone. And Khomeini let them do the work. He waited. He let all the other groups help overthrow the Shah. And then - once power was won - he systematically began to eliminate all his former allies. The leftists and Marxists who had fought by his side were the first to end up in the prisons and at the execution lines. The Tudeh Party - Iran’s Communist Party - was completely wiped out. The Mojahedin-e Khalq - left-wing Islamists - who had fought against the Shah were declared enemies and massacred. The bitter point: The leftists helped build the prison they ended up in themselves. This is exactly the same pattern we see in the West today - where leftists defend an ideology that would kill them for their values. History repeats itself. And those who refuse to learn it…are already building their own prison.

In 1871 a man sat at a desk and wrote fifteen letters. ⚽🇬🇧 Nobody knew what those letters would become. His name was Charles Alcock. Secretary of the Football Association. Former pupil at Harrow School. He remembered something from his schooldays. A knockout competition between houses. Every team plays. The losers go home. One winner. He thought: what if we did that. But for the whole country. So he wrote fifteen letters. The clubs that wrote back: Barnes. Civil Service. Clapham Rovers. Crystal Palace. Donington School. Hampstead Heathens. Harrow Chequers. Hitchin. Maidenhead. Marlow. Queen's Park of Glasgow. Royal Engineers. Upton Park. Wanderers. Fifteen clubs. Out of fifty who were eligible. Most of them thought it was a nice idea. Some of them didn't bother replying at all. Three withdrew before they even played a match. Twelve clubs actually competed. Thirteen games in total. The whole thing played out across a few months in the winter and spring of 1871 to 1872. The final was held on 16 March 1872 at the Kennington Oval. A cricket ground. There were no stands. Two thousand people stood around a rope in the cold March afternoon light to watch. The Royal Engineers were overwhelming favourites. Physically imposing. Tactically advanced. 7-4 on to win. Ten minutes in... One of their players broke his collarbone. No substitutes existed. They played on with ten men. Wanderers scored. One nil. Final score. The man who invented the competition played in it. He captained the winning team. He lifted the cup he had created. Charles Alcock. The only man in history to invent a competition, play in its first final, and win it. 🏆 That competition still runs today. One hundred and fifty five years later. The semi-final draw was made just days ago... Manchester City vs Southampton. Chelsea vs Leeds. The oldest national football competition on earth. And every football cup competition that followed, every domestic cup in every country, follows the same format. The knockout bracket. Every team plays. The losers go home. One winner. Britain invented that. In fifteen letters. From one desk. In 1871. 🇬🇧 Every story on this channel is available in full at proudofus.co.uk If you want to help us keep these stories alive: proudofus.co.uk/support Be Part Of Us. Be Proud Of Us. 🇬🇧

🇬🇧 He called her the Enchantress of Number. 🧮 In 1843 a British woman wrote the world’s first computer programme. For a computer that didn’t exist yet. 💻 Her name was Ada Lovelace. Her father was Lord Byron. Her mother feared she would inherit his madness so she was taught mathematics instead. 📐 In 1833 she met Charles Babbage. He was building a machine that could calculate. Everyone else saw a calculator. Ada saw something a century ahead of its time. That a machine could process not just numbers but anything expressed as symbols. Music. Language. Logic. Everything. ⚙️ She translated a French article about his engine into English. Then added her own notes. Three times as long as the original. ✍️ Note G. The world’s first computer programme. Written in 1843. For a machine that would not be built for another hundred years. 📜 Published under her initials only. A.A.L. Because she was a woman in 1843 and her name was not permitted on the page. 🔏 The computer was finally built a century later. Alan Turing referenced her work in his 1950 computing paper. The US Department of Defense named a programming language after her. 🖥️ Every computer programme ever written traces back to a note written by a British woman in a Victorian study by candlelight. 🕯️🇬🇧 Did they teach you her name?
