The DBD devs admitted in the Community Stream that the addition of The Legion in 2v8 was a mistake on their part.
They also said that they couldn't find a way to make the killer gameplay 'fun' without changing the way they fundamentally work.

@fPearspective Even though I kinda doubt it, but I hope tomorrow, the devs will announce a meta shift for the next ptb. It's just not fair how many strong survivor perks have the "low risk/effort, high reward" effect.

God this. I don’t care about being tunneled at 5 if I did I’d run anti tunnel perks and 99% of the time you still get tunneled oh well just queue up again or idk STOP PLAYING. The amount of nasty fucking things I’ve been called since playing killer to pip like HUH!?

Complaining about someone playing to win in DBD is more selfish than the person playing to win People enjoy games in different ways, some care about the win more than others. If you genuinely expect people to cater to your form of fun you might be the one with the ego
