@Nikfor_ Hot take. I thought having bosses that turn into normal enemies was fun! It feels much less stressfull when you get to learn an enemie's full moveset before it's teaming up with other enemies or sent in pairs

Finished Lords of the Fallen and I’ll admit I had a genuinely good experience with it. Visually and in terms of art direction it’s one of the best Soulslikes I’ve played. The world feels huge and atmospheric, the environments are memorable, and the dark fantasy tone stays strong from start to finish. One thing I really liked is how the Umbral system gives the game its own personality. Switching between the two realms adds tension, makes exploration more interesting, and just feels unique compared to other Soulslikes. I also appreciated how varied the world feels as you move through it. Even with the darker theme, the areas stay distinct, and the way everything connects makes exploration satisfying. The lighting and sound design add a lot to the mood, the gear looks great in motion, and once you start experimenting with different weapons and builds the combat becomes a lot more enjoyable. The only area where I had mixed feelings was the boss fights. There are moments where the game shows real potential, especially with fights like the Lightreaper which were genuinely fun and satisfying. Some of the other bosses don’t reach that same level and feel a bit underwhelming compared to how strong the world and atmosphere are. I also didn’t mind that a few bosses appear later as regular enemies, and since it’s already confirmed that this won’t be the case in the next game, that’s definitely a welcome improvement. Overall I’ll be there day one for Lords of the Fallen 2. There’s a strong base here and a lot of room for the sequel to shine.
