In the last 72 hours: • Leftists lying and claiming Anita Sarkeesian just voiced some mild criticism about games in her personal time. In reality, she went from studio to studio demanding change, started an entire Kickstarter campaign with the goal of enforcing change into the hobby, and even sat before Parliament to demand legislation against games. • Leftists lying and claiming that they never cared about straight male gamers "gooning," when in reality they spent 15 years crying about every single attractive female character and namecalling/shaming gamers for enjoying things like this. As well as twisting the arms of developers to change/remove/stop making these sorts of things. • Leftists claiming that Quentin Deranque, a random conservative dude who was jumped by like 15 leftists and murdered in broad daylight simply because he's conservative, was in fact a "Nazi." They even circulated an image of some random dude (not Quentin) wearing a Swastika armband, claiming it was Quentin. • Leftists claiming that right-wing protestors tried to bomb the Mayor of NYC. In reality, two Islamic men shouted "Allahu Akbar" and threw a homemade pipe bomb *at* peaceful rw protestors, nearly killing them. They're only alive because the bomb didn't go off. They're now lying about literal terrorist attacks. Nearly every *single* LW newsgroup/tabloid has pushed and perpetuated this lie: CNN, NYT, MSNBC, CBS, Daily Mail, TMZ, etc. Left-wing politicians are also already pushing and spreading this lie. Western progressives are the biggest purveyors of lies and misinformation out there... by a fucking *huge* margin. These people are so easily swindled and manipulated by lies and propaganda. This is precisely why they made their own proprietary "fact checkers" — because they knew that doing so would make it easier for them to push and perpetuate lies. This is why leftists love and rely on censorship –– because they know that their claims, assertions, and ideas can't stand up to scrutiny or open debate/argument. Anyone who is still an out and open leftist in 2026 is a retard... or just as dishonest.

And if the President is required to give that report, then Congress is required to receive it. This is not symbolic. This is structural. The Founders designed the State of the Union as a formal interaction between branches of government. The executive reports. The legislative body listens, evaluates, and responds. That means attendance is not about feelings. It is not about agreement. It is not about whether you like the President. It is about duty. When members of Congress refuse to attend, they are abandoning one of their core institutional responsibilities… to witness, to hear, and to hold accountable through presence. You cannot claim oversight while refusing to show up when the executive is constitutionally reporting to you. You cannot claim representation while refusing to sit in the chamber where your constituents’ interests are being addressed. Absence sends a message: “I reject the constitutional process itself.” And that is bigger than politics. For over two centuries, members of Congress have attended addresses delivered by Presidents they fiercely opposed because the office demanded respect and the constitutional order demanded participation.
