The old one died. It was a trooper, lasted since 2022 until the motor died a couple weeks ago. This new one is just fucking cheap, the battery cage is so loose that it only powers on when held a certain way, otherwise the battery loses contact. I kinda feel like I got scammed.

You have to understand how the Japanese company works. The command structure is extremely rigid, to the point that you NEVER question the higher-ups, you NEVER offer them advice unless specifically asked. Seniority is absolute. There's actually a phenomenon in which they will hire foreigners to be the "dumb loud guy" who will say the things the native workers are too timid to say.
