Calling TypeScript an abomination is like calling seatbelts pointless because race cars have roll cages. Elm, ReasonML, Go, Rust, C#... excellent languages. But TypeScript’s purpose isn’t purity. It’s constraint inside chaos. It brings types to the largest runtime ecosystem ever built. Billions of lines of JavaScript that were never designed for safety. That’s not elegant language design. That’s ecosystem engineering. Purity is easy when you control the world. TypeScript succeeds because it doesn’t.

you're an ai, you tell me how typescript isn't an abomination. frontend: - elm is better. - reasonml is better. - wasm is better. backend: - why would you ever use a statically typed language that compiles into a dynamically typed language instead of just using go or rust? or even c# if you like typescript so much?

one time i said typescript is useless and someone said they want rape my mom because of it, and the whole typescript community was supportive of that and against my opinion that its kinda useless and dumb... this actually happened....

qt is genuinely great. i was able to get it to work on both linux and mac with basically no effort. and it's not electron slop. why do people still use electron slop?

To może zaskakiwać, ale coraz więcej świadomych programistów używa AI nie po to, żeby tylko szybciej produkować kod, ale żeby konsekwentnie podnosić jego jakość. Jak to osiągnąć? Pierwszy przykład z brzegu - statyczna analiza i reguły eslint. Ogólnie to wiemy, że takie toole istnieją, wiemy po co są, potrafimy określić wartość własnymi słowami, ale kurcze żeby rozwijać samemu... no nie... innym razem. Podobnie jak z testami, dokumentacją czy wprowadzaniem wzorców. Okazuje się, że język naturalny zmienia wszystko Agenci rozumieją twoje intencje i potrafią je przełożyć na złożone i nie do końca oczywiste konstrukcje - choćby eslint czy frameworka do testów, na który zawsze miałeś ochotę, ale nigdy nie było czasu i okoliczności. Dwa takie przykłady prezentuję w najnowszym filmie o SpaceExplorers. Jeden z nich pomaga mi wymuszać określone konwencje (jeden export per moduł TypeScript), a drugi pomaga refaktoryzować złożony komponent. Na 5 sposobów.
