NEWS: Elon Musk has confirmed that HW3 can't achieve Unsupervised FSD.
"For customers that have bought FSD on HW3, we are offing a discounted trade-in for cars that have AI4, and also offering the ability to upgrade the cars computer and cameras. We're going to have to set up micro factories in major metro areas. I do think over time it will make sense for us to convert all HW3 cars to HW4."

Here are eight things that come to my mind with this announcement:
1) Getting rid of the FSD purchase option eliminates the hardware-upgrade/retrofit concern going forward for new EV sales from Tesla’s standpoint, because subscribers aren’t promised anything.
2) One of the operational milestones in Elon’s 2025 CEO Performance Award plan is 10 million FSD subscriptions - not 10 million FSD purchases. Subscriptions.
3) Investors love predictable revenue. One-time FSD purchases don’t provide that; subscriptions provide a steadier, long-term recurring revenue source.
4) Free FSD transfer will undoubtably remain in countries where FSD is not live yet.
5) The Luxe Package on the Model S/X and Cybertruck will likely go away, or at least the FSD portion, lowering those cars’ entry prices.
6) At $99 per month, buying FSD outright for $8,000 made little sense for most people, since it would take about 6 years and 7 months of monthly payments to equal that upfront price. That doesn't include the opportunity cost of what you could have done with that $8k (stocks, etc).
7) This could be my bias (and optimism) speaking, but I think this change is a positive signal for the FSD (Unsupervised) timeline.
8) In my view, it would eventually make sense for Tesla to offer different FSD subscription tiers. For example, a lower-priced “FSD Light” could replace legacy Autopilot, while full FSD (Unsupervised) would remain a higher-priced premium option. Offering an annual FSD subscription for slightly cheaper would be great too.

Yesterday's UN walkout wasn't just a boycott-it was a gut punch. Delegations stormed out as Israel's Prime Minister took the stage, aiming to humiliate him and, by extension, a whole nation. They wanted to shame a people who've faced centuries of hatred, from ancient pogroms to modern jihad. But here's the thing: you can't humiliate resilience.
Jewish people have survived worse-exile, genocide, terror-and come out stronger, sharing their brilliance with the world. Look at their legacy: Nobel Prize winners in science, medicine, physics. Innovators in tech, cybersecurity, AI. Artists, writers, filmmakers shaping culture globally. In the U.S., seven million Jews drive economy, law, entertainment-think Hollywood, Silicon Valley, Wall Street.
Israel, a sliver of land, outshines nations ten times its size in startups, water tech, defense against barbarism. They earned this not by bullying or buying votes, but by building, creating, giving. Biblical promises? Call it divine intelligence-a moral compass for progress.
Now flip it: Gaza's tragedy weaponized to delegitimize Jews. Palestinians and supporters cheer this boycott, celebrating a win. But what did they earn? Legitimacy through violence, terrorism, oil bribes, UN manipulation? Numbers over merit? Blackmail over brains? They're digging their grave, attacking a pillar of civilization for what-seventh-century ideology? Intimidation? It's devastating for humanity, choosing dark forces over light.
Don't mourn the walkout; celebrate survival. Israel thrives despite hate because who they are-innovators, defenders of democracy-can't be erased. The world needs Jewish grit more than ever.
To my Jewish friends: Your strength isn't just enduring; it's uplifting us all. Keep shining-they'll see the void they have created soon enough. 🙏

It was too depressing to write this last night, after we got off air, so I went to bed. But, it needs to be said by more Democrats: this was not an impeachable offense, and Trump did not need congressional approval for one precision attack under the circumstances, just as Obama did not when striking Bin Laden. Why can’t our Party just say it’s great we achieved the objective and destroyed Iran’s nuclear sites, god bless the soldiers who carried this out and made it home safely, god bless our country, military, allies, and we look forward to a full intel briefing. 🇺🇸. If one must then assert Congressional authority at the moment, add that any escalation will require congressional approval. And if you must, express concern for where this may go and what might come next.
But, for so many in my Party to knee jerk with unhinged calls for impeachment - and sadly omit in their statement support for Iran not having nuclear weapons, which has been a principle of our Party for 40 years -is truly TDS.

כמו בעזה, המלחמה הזאת אינה נגד העם האיראני, המלחמה הזו היא נגד ההנהגה הפנאטית האיראנית. הנהגה שהיא האויב של שוחרי החופש ואוהבי האדם: באיראן, בישראל ובכל העולם.
