@tonydindy A jarring visual of just how much safer these cars have become. The left rear tire of Pato's car, with the entire force of the car, would have gone straight into Rossi's cockpit.

@VaughanJesse_27 Of course everything hits it cause it’s so massive piece.. Cockpits were very safe on side impacts before screen, problem was flying debris and direct hits to the drivers head area.

I’ve lost count how many tires have been kept out of cockpits since this thing was introduced. 👏

@F1REAKS You cannot compare these two series in any way.. Moto guys are gladiators, F1 is nowadays super safe and you cannot even talk these two on same day.

at the end of the day both formula 1 and motogp will always put entertainment and money above driver/rider safety
